I LOVE these half chaps and I'm pretty picky! I was hesitant about the faux leather but I've never found a Horze product I didn't love so gave them a try. They are so comfortable and so attractive I'll take a pass on real leather. They're a little more stove pipe than other half chaps I've tried, do not that in the product photos. I have a narrow ankle and muscular calves that I like to show off tbh so I tend to prefer the more shapely half chaps. These have a little more room in the ankle but that makes them easy to wear over my Dublin paddock boots that have thicker leather in the ankle. These half chaps cling to the boot nicely, so no bulk there, and they're very flexible and move with the boot. They sit low on the boot, I haven't tried them with spurs yet, might need to put the spurs on first with these but there won't be any conflict either way. I've worn them all day and they're still super comfortable. Once again Horze comes through even when I was skeptical! Highly recommend, even if you're suspicious of faux leather, you might like these. I'm sold!

I ordered the xxs bc it was the only one in stock (but I thought I would need an xs). Surprisingly it fit perfect and they worked great for my first ride in them! For reference I usually wear a 26 breech and tall slim tall boots.

I want to preface this with the statement that I do not ride horses. This purchase was strictly as an aesthetic choice. I've been wanting to get my pants to blouse higher on my leg without purchasing a set of expensive leather spats or those awful cheaply made goth boots with all the silly buckles and giant clompy elevator soles. As an unabashed "poser" I even flipped them around and wore the left one on the right leg and vice versa so that the zippers were on the inside instead of out. These things look frickin great over my black combat boots with some black BDU pants and cost way less than the aforementioned leather spats from etsy or big goth boots. Very happy with this purchase. They're exactly what I wanted and the product matches description well.

I’ve had these for about three months . I take lessons twice a week . The zipper came off one of them . It can’t be put back on because it actually snapped in half . Disappointed
