I have tried dozens of hiking boots and there was always something lacking, that is until I found Merrell brands. This is my fifth pair of Merrell hiking boots and they haven’t left me wanting anything in a hiking boot since. I hike anywhere from 5-14ish miles on a trek mostly in desert terrain. These boots are light yet are thick enough to protect my feet from pointy rocks, thorns, or critters. Never had a pebble slip in. A pair will fit the same the first time I wear them until the last time I wear them only trading them in seeking more tread. The support the integrity of my foot whether just walking or climbing. Of course, I never hurt a toe if I happen to stumble, the toe box is strong and perfectly spaced. I will not wear anything else voluntarily.

In full disclosure, I was a tad reluctant to buy shoes & even hiking boots online. Knowing how varied sizing goes these days, different molds, models. But. . ..theses fit better than expected , far more comfortable than I even hoped for, they have just the right amount of room & give & take. The lugs on the sole are modest, yet provide a smooth walk on concrete. The inner sole & arch support are perfect. Price Point for Merrell Moab 3.0 were great . Yes would buy again! ( bought them for a 5 canyon tour in March in Utah)

Initial review of these boots are they are true to size and comfortable. These boots were purchased to replace a previous pair of Moab 2 boots that I wear for work. I am a equipment operator working in rough terrain and environment so my job is particularly rough on boots. My last pair lasted 8 months before the sole failed. If I get 8-12 months for a pair of work boots I'm satisfied. In regards to the purchase, the transaction was smooth and shipping time was reasonable, receiving the package within 5 days of purchase.

Just got these today and I’m amazed at the comfort and support. It’s so hard for me to find size 13 shoes that fit properly, but these are fantastic! ***UPDATE*** Went on a several mile hike in the woods and I'm soooooo very satisfied with the comfort and support. I'm even considering getting a 2nd pair of the low cut ones for more daily use.

I've had many hiking shoes before and I have spent just as much as these shoes. However, these are so comfortable, light, and have great support. They also look very well made. I am so glad I bought these. I spent 4 days hiking in Moab, Utah and the shoes kept me dry and warm the whole time. They're so light and comfortable so I was able to hike for hours without my feet feeling uncomfortable/tired. Highly recommended.

i wore this for the first time on a 2 week trip to Ecuador, probably walked 50 to a 100 miles through the city through the Amazon in the Andes, they held up great really comfortable and somehow remained clean there sitting in my laundry room right now and look brand new. Great boots. Also wore them 4 wheeling in the rain in the Amazon they dried out quickly, luckily they were my only shoes.
