I have some plants that don’t require a lot of water in pots. It’s been so hot that the water evaporates quickly This is recommended to add to soil as it absorbs water and releases it slowly. I got this to add to my homemade aroid potting mix, but the pieces are tiny. They're about half the size of perlite. They might still be beneficial, but they definitely aren't the chunky pieces I was looking for, which makes them overpriced imo.

I purchased this product to re-pot my Benjamina Ficus with, and love it. My tree had been in soil that was not draining well enough. I purchased this product with hope it would help along with a re-pot and the results have been great! On top of the soil draining much better, I am seeing a lot of new growth. I saw a few reviews about the price being high but, it seemed pretty average. I personally like this product because of how small the pieces of charcoal are. They are tiny, and mix into the soil very well!
