This has some good basic information, but I am glad I went to check out some of the trailheads ahead of time without the trailer-- some of the roads are pretty rough and not accessible with a bigger rig. I would have liked more information and description of the trails being new to the area. But it's a good starting point if you are looking for places to ride. ... show more

This book gives an overview of many trails in Arizona; but compared to other books the information on each trail is scant. The description is really insufficient for an outsider to know whether the trails as described are really interesting; no pictures, no stories. no description of the trail. There is only one map in the book and it is almost impossible to find the trails on the map. The book may be useful once you got to a certain area to explore some trails but as a Non Arizona citizen this book is completely useless for me. I would not recommend the purchase of this book as a general introduction to Arizona trail riding. ... show more
