This set of little ten ounce cups is very very good. They are a nice size for small kids' hands. We have four kids here under ten years old, shatteringly hard tile floors throughout, and people who think throwing a glass in the sink accurately from twenty feet away is a sigh of greatness. These cups are very thin and lightweight, smooth and flawless. They don't chip. They don't crack with hot water. They don't break. When I first saw them in real life I expected all three of those outcomes. No such bad luck. Totally happy with these. Will probably buy them again (NO glass lasts forever), maybe for presents.

After a disappointing experience with a cup warmer using my regular China/porcelain coffee mug I bought these BoSil glass (Pyrex type) mugs (on the advice of the mug warmer reviewer). A box of 6 arrived in good shape with nothing broken - ready to wash and fill. These are a thinner version of a Pyrex measuring cup so be forewarned. Handle is a big-D. Totally flat bottom. Glass is crystal clear. The thin glass transfers the heat from the warmer far better than my thick mug. The issue isn’t the warmer since at its max setting it ranges between 360-376o F. Will they withstand daily use and the dishwasher? Maybe. At this price it’s not a serious waste of money. I do like my coffee more than luke warm after 15-20”. Even after an hour the contents are 137F with warmer 237F at max setting. Nice.

UPDATE 11/23/22: 7 months after I purchased. I’m taking a star away because I had a mug blow out 2 small holes in the bottom of the mug while making a cappuccino on a Miele machine.(See Photo). I also had a mug get a hairline crack in the bottom of the cup although it doesn’t leak I pitched it out as well (couldn’t get a good picture to show the crack). We are heartbroken because these mugs are excellent to use and so nice to take out of the dishwasher not having a puddle of water in the bottom because they are flat bottomed. So Sad! 4/8/22: These mugs are so perfect! They are very light weight wise and excellent handle for holding our coffee or tea. I love that the bottoms are totally flat so when they are done in the dishwasher they don’t hold a clump of water when you take them out. They also are perfect for the people that like to use a cup hot plate to keep coffee or whatever warm. The other thing that’s so nice is that they don’t have a seam in the glass where the two sides meet together when factory made. It is supper nice that it holds the heat of the coffee so much better and longer so make sure you use the handle instead of grabbing the cup by the sides cause they are much hotter then other mugs. Bottom line is that these are beautiful crystal clear WONDERFUL coffee mugs! Thank You Horlmier

I have had borosilicate glass cups before and these are excellent, as good as any I have used. They hold heat well enough, and are very comfortable in the hand. They are thicker than some but still lightweight, and I suppose that their thickness might make them more durable. The thickness and highly polished rounded rim where your lips contact the glass make them a pleasure to drink from. Of course they will break when dropped on a tile floor, but would probably bounce off a carpet. We now have wood floors and I suspect they might survive a drop, with some luck. In any case, they are glass, and glass will eventually break from one accident or another. Then you buy more. As these things go, the cost of cups and glasses over a lifetime is about as minimal as it gets. They came well packed and arrived in perfect shape. I would buy these again and recommend them, including for a gift. The price is quite reasonable. Looking for these, it was tedious, almost to the point of being painful, to read through all the negative and ludicrous reviews and I spent way too much time in the process. So it goes.

Just got the cups and they are very nice! However, the glass is extremely thin and fragile and just with the slightest touch with another glass or surface they would definitely break. You really need to hold them with a lot of care! Anyway, I think you should look for something else because this are indeed cute, but they won’t last :(
