  • Stoked asf, really satisfied!!!!
Edition: Collector's Edition
I'm so happy with the collector's edition. I can not express how stoked I was opening the box. As a little kid I always want to get a CE for a game but never got the chance, I finally got this one as my first CE and am so happy. I've heard so many good reviews on the game and am ready to dive in. The only con I had with it was that the CE does not include a disc, it's all downloadable content but you still receive the medal case. I dont see the point in that but other than that it's awesome asf!!!!!! ... show more

  • This is the first collector's box of a game I buy, I was not disappointed
Edition: Collector's Edition
The game itself comes in a digital code, a bit disappointing in that aspect, but they must have been afraid that the giant statue would break the disc. You also get a really nice steelbook, but empty. There is a code where you get digital futures like digital comics and a soundtrack. The soundtrack contains more than a hundred songs and tunes, really nice. The statuette of the machine itself is really huge, it doesn't fit on any shelf, so it sits above the bookcase... It is made of high quality plastic, and looks amazing. I finished the game, it was really good, well written, and a world full of stories. The graphics are really good - looks really amazing on the PlayStation 5, even when I played in performance mode. The battles with the metal monsters feel great, flow. Aloy is really strong in this game. (I play on normal). This is the only platinum I have on the playstation, I don't usually invest that much in a game. ... show more

  • Go on an adventure with Aloy to the Forbidden West
Edition: Collector's Edition
This is the 2nd game in this series and it starts with a recap as soon as the game starts up. Game play: If you played the 1st game, the basic controls are already there at the start. Then there is a tutorial for the updated parts of controls, which are improvements over their past version. Collecting materials over the max carry amount is sorta unlimited now as you know you need wood for the arrows. Your teammates will let you know if you screwed up on stealth. Story: (no spoilers) Choices are back so choose wisely on how you want to come off. It will affect what happens later. I haven't seen any QTEs yet as they are just done for you once you get to them...so relax and watch before you you face that boss. Story is going good so far. Sound: Depending on your TV you'll be able to hear anything that makes a sound in this game within the environment. Music is still good. Other stuff: The box this comes in comes inside of another box with corner protection. The robo elephant is big and requires some assembly as far as the tusk, trunk, and tail goes. The Aloy figure shows you the scale to expect when fighting it. The steel book could be used to hold the 1st game, otherwise it just looks nice. The art book is what it is. Both of these are located in the drawer under the elephant. Located within a separate app are bonus content The digital comic book is about a character you helped in the 1st game. The soundtrack is there too along with the digital version of the artwork. This game is about 80GB so if you want to get it downloaded faster put your system in rest mode. Also when you finally get your PS5(still don't have one) you'll be able to continue where you left off as both versions are included so you can test the other features the PS5 version has. This game will be an interesting experience for this that play it. While there is a recap I suggest playing the 1st game to get the whole story. ... show more

  • No Disc? Were you never taught to read before you buy??
Edition: Collector's Edition
First off with all the negative reviews....they should of had two versions but if they are only able to do one. Gonna have to be digital. PS5 is hard enough to come by right now and there are those with not those discs. Now I know the appeal of having a hard copy but at but you just can't have a digital and disc...it is not a BOGO. Does kinda suck but it clearing says digital only. Now if they were smart...Sony should have a serial number tied directly to the disk (Locking it, atleast temporarily to your account). That said great game, display and statue. Definitely don't regret preordering this. Easily top 3 best gaming series. Hundreds of hours for play and all that for $200? Wish I could have got the Regalia! A game you'd play years later and still be great, that is priceless. Well that is unless it's Skyrim or GTA...🤷♂️😂 ... show more

  • Should've been Game of the Year for Art Direction
Edition: Collector's Edition
The game is absolutely beautiful, with far more machines to fight in this game than the first game. The story is also really good, though I haven't finished it at the time of writing this review. Game should've won GotY for art direction! As for the Tremortusk, its a really nice model and sits nicely on my desk with my other statues/figures ... show more

  • Its nice, a bit buggy still but they working on it.
Edition: Collector's Edition
Digital collector edition copy came with steel case and big figurine. I thought I was getting a digital and physical copy for the 200$ I paid for it. The game to date has had many updates to fix the buggyness but if you get stuck or glitch part of the story quest they have auto and manual save points so you just go load game and reload from a save be for the glitch happened. Then try not to but it out again. ... show more

  • Top 10 playstation game for PS5.
Edition: Collector's Edition
I bought this game after playing and defeating the first in this series. I will say it did a good job story wise, and the gameplay and cut scenes felt familiar but also refreshing. I reccomend this game for anyone looking for a action/questing game that is beautiful and story driven.

  • More of the same
Edition: Collector's Edition
Did you like the first game? Do you want more of that? If yes, then buy this game. Similar to Zero Dawn, you will be shooting robots with a bow for hours, but now with more skills. Side quests are lackluster but the main story is a good continuation of the first game. Visuals are nice, but I do not recommend the 4k mode as the frame rate is jittery, and things only look good while standing still. As for the collectors edition, its cool and all but why is there no physical disc in the box? Really disappointing but I will live. The statue is huge and very cool at least. Overall 4/5 ... show more
