Grandson 5 years old and I have had great fun looking for Little Rock’s and going through the 4 week polishing process,,, he really enjoyed watching his rocks becoming a thing of beauty,,, he has a tiger eye stone and wants to make a necklace for his mom,,,,sooo,,, grandpa bought the supplies and we are on to the next adventure in a grandpa grandson journey, Product is of adequate quality, and works fine for a beginner.

Bought this for my son for his 14th birthday. He has always collected rocks whenever he was camping or on a walk, so now he can polish them. The polishing process takes a very long time, but at least this tumbler is much quieter than others I have heard. We set it up out the garage because it is still too loud to have running in the house for days!

The media could not be loaded. I would give zero stars if I could. I read the negative reviews and thought the complainers just didn’t understand machinery. Turns out the machinery doesn’t understand machinery either. I thought, “I’m sure it’ll work for me, I’ll try it out.” Spoiler: it did not. It stays on for maaaybe 30 seconds, makes a sound like it’s being inconvenienced, then just dies. I’ve tried every outlet in the house and garage. Even lessened the load (which was within the range they state in the manual anyway). The beach where I grabbed my rocks from was honestly way more productive, even if it would’ve taken another 100 years for a glossy smooth finish.

Got this in a very timely manner and cant wait for my kids to open it for Christmas. Definitely looks and appears like a good machine. The price was affordable to other tumblers I was looking at too. Will update again with functionality when we get some rocks collected and get it going.
