I found it fairly consistently sized throughout the roll. The material is stretchy. The connecting points were surged together and could be stronger as some of it wasn’t together. I almost just knitted them but just carefully wrapped and knitted them. So since the material is so stretchy, the shawl will need to be blocked to hold its shape. It keeps wanting to shrink back so I’m not sure if blocking with help or if it’ll only be temporary. It’s a lot heavier than expected strips of cotton to be. The color isn’t as varied as I’d hoped. It’s not very distinct changes or the shades it could be based on the image of the page. It’s a nice blue color but none of the ombré or varied colors or color change sections it advertised. Overall I’m not sure I’d buy this type of yarn product again. Yarn is hard to buy online; it needs to be feeled and touched. ... show more

BEWARE, this is only one skein of yarn, and you don't get to choose the color. I ordered two, thinking I would get 6 skeins, two of each color. I got two skeins each a different color. I am not complaining about the price, it actually pretty good even for just one skein. But this listing is misleading, and not being able to pick the color you want us inconvenient. It is good material and I will order more and see what I get. But if you are looking for three skeins in the colors displayed, good luck! ... show more

While the product is great, it clearly shows three skeins for ocean blue. There are other pictures with only one skein (different colors). I thought this meant I was getting three skeins, and I find this misleading
