This panel is built like a tank and definitely punches above its price point compared to some of the really expensive brands out there. The metal housing feels solid and durable, and the lights are seriously bright. It comes with both red light and near-infrared settings, and you can switch between having either one on or running both at the same time depending on what you are targeting. Sitting in front of it for 10 to 15 minutes a day has made a noticeable difference for muscle recovery and easing stiff joints after workouts. The built-in cooling fan does make a low humming sound while it is running, but it keeps the unit from getting overly hot. You definitely want to use the included eye protection goggles because the light intensity is intense up close. First off -- the device itself is great. It feels like a high quality product with heavy, solid construction. It functions well, producing ample light. And I love the timer function. But if you intend to use this for mitochondrial support for Long Covid (or a similar condition), be careful! I found that while I felt an amazing effect from the device (a strong, full-body sense of calm and ease that lasted for 2+ hours, similar to using CBD oil), it was also possible to cause post-exertional malaise (PEM) crashes if I sat in front of it for too long. I highly recommend only using the device every-other-day and ramping up your "dose" (time in front of the device) slowly, perhaps as little as 2 minutes total time to start out. ... show more

Absolutely Love this! Best purchase of the year. I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis & lots of damage to my body. I have used red light therapy at salons but wanted one for my own house. Didn't want to bother with a cheap one but this one is not expensive for the quality you get. Lights up an entire dark room in mid of night. You can feel the wavelengths. Just came today, but I am so impressed at the quality. It's very heavy, sturdy & it output is amazing. I want a second one just to double the exposure. If you find one too cheap, it's probably not strong enough wavelengths to help. The price on this one is great, it's very high end & I don't want to turn it off and walk away. I purchased this in 2022 to use for my face as part of my skin care. Well I didn’t use it very regularly for myself so I can’t make any claims for people. HOWEVER, I did begin using it for my dog that has severe allergies. He’s 10 and has had issues for the majority of that time. He gets horrible, absolutely horrible, breakouts. Big bumps, causing him to be itchy and lick nonstop. Then he ends up covered in sores and flaky scabs.. I’ve had him tested and had drops made specifically for his results. I’ve tried Apoquel-did nothing and read about some scary side effects .I’ve tried antibiotics and steroids, medicated sprays and shampoos, which worked some but not ideal. He’s had cytopoint shots (and, I kid you not, gave him relief for no longer than 3 days-and that’s being generous, especially at $100 a shot.) This lamp is a God-send! It has given him so much relief that no amount of medication or diet change ever has. His breakouts are mainly contained to his groin and abdomen but have also happened under his tail, behind his rear legs, under his armpit area and even up the sides of his back at times. It’s devastating seeing him suffer and I was at my wits end when I tried the red light for the first time. It was near instant relief for him. It seemed to calm his skin and still does. It gives him peace he hasn’t gotten with anything else. This 100% works for him. I’ve slacked before (regretfully so) and his breakouts come back with a vengeance. He lays on his side and I time the light on his back end, abdomen and armpits for 1-3 minutes in each area. Then he moves to his other side and I treat the abdomen and armpit areas again 1-3 minutes. 2 minutes is the sweet spot but when I’m pressed for time I can do less and it will maintain his comfort, keeping his skin clear. He even falls asleep while I’m doing it and begins to snore. This is a must for as long as River is alive. Maybe it can help some other poor pup out there. And I’ve started using it for myself recently so I’m hoping for some awesome results as well! ... show more
