For the price listed, this is a nice piece of furniture. It's not suitable for overly active dogs or anything larger than a small dog or puppy, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five, but it's perfect for my senior min pin. I needed someplace where he could be safe from my larger dog who gets overly playful in the evenings. Now Rage can chill in his den with a Kong and I don't have to worry about fights breaking out. This item came undamaged and took a bit to put together, solo, mostly just due to size. It looks good now - but holes were misaligned for the top so though it feels sturdy, we will see - two screws wouldn't go I'm at all (no matter how I flipped the top). Overall, I'm happy with it. Unclear what the four plastic 'corner protectors' (at least that's what they look like) are for. Not mentioned anywhere in the instructions - there's 2 small ones and 2 larger ones. I bought two of these for each of my dogs. These are very nice in design, but the bottom is not sturdy, definitely does not hold any dog >25 lbs, esp if they are hyperactive and like to pounce a lot. The bottoms of these crates are not strong enough to hold with only the small screws provided. I ended up having to remove the bottoms and just let the dogs rest on the floor (not cool for bladder and bowel accidents). One of the locking latches broke off from the gate; I'm still trying to figure out how that happened, my guess is my dog was persistent. Anyway, the top is sturdy to hold dog supplies and dog food, etc. If the bottom had the same reinforcement as the top, I think it would be better. Unfortunately, it doesn't. Great and exactly as pictured. I have a small white chihuahua name Isaiah. I would not recommend for small dogs as he climb up the door and got out through the opening but other than that great product.

Update they did give me a full refund so that is very reputable of them. Maybe you’ll have better luck then I did. Don’t buy this it’s cheap and the screws will not stay because the particleboard is so cheap. It’s horrible I returned it.

Some of the screws did not have holes making it hard to put together. Also I didn’t realize how large the gap was at the top and my puppy climbed out. Now we can’t use until she gets bigger.
