    • Can't always believe item "check to see if it fits"
When we 1st started searching for a replacement value for our water heater... we started with Honeywell itself to obtain a current replacement for our older water heater. The representative we spoke with at Honeywell gave us the information and pricing through them but told us to check around for a better price. Not cutting her throat but being a helpful person. I did email this seller asking if it would fit ...again wanting reassurance that it was possible to fix for a couple of hundred bucks compared to new for $700. After ordering I got the response, ""Hi there! I did some research and unfortunately do not think our product is a match." Well.... it did fit and we didn't haul water last night!! So you might add it your list. It was a perfect match!  Our gas water heaters have served us well. The one my husband fixed services our 2 bathrooms and we have another for our kitchen and laundry room. So, we weren't totally out of hot water... just had to haul buckets of hot and add cold LOL. Real glad the replacement worked, and I did buy the extended warranty. ... show more

Had to install it on a water heater in a trailer. Tighter than Dick Tracy’s hat band! 45 minutes after I finished hot water is flowing.

The water heater was acquired 4 years ago. This part failed and had to be replaced. Boiler had a six year warranty. When I tried to apply for the warranty they couldn’t find the serial number in their system. Had to purchase the part new. Hoping that it will last longer this time.
