If you want to recognize and understand more about yourself and those in your life you love and support who play the role of a Projector, this is the book for you. I have known Evelyn for over 10 years and she is by far the most informed person I have met regarding being a Projector. She not only understands this role but also lives it, demonstrates it and shares it with crystal clarity. The information in this book is both detailed and organized in a way that is easy and delightful to read. As a way of teaching, through out the book, Evelyn offers examples of Human Design Charts of well known people and points out the characteristics that you will recognize in them. Some of the most important and influential people in my life including my mother, husband and close friends play the Projector role. Learning how to understand and appreciate their wisdom and gifts and offering them the recognition they both deserve must have has enriched my life and kept the love flowing. We are all blessed to have these wise beloved others among us.

Whether you are a Projector type or love a Projector, this is truly the most comprehensive book out there on Projectors. Evelyn has such depth of knowledge to share on the subject. Truly an insightful read that is not only in a self-help instructional format but comes from a deep space of understanding and knowing. To say that it promotes self-love, empowerment, and healing is 150% accurate. As a Projector type, myself--I have struggled to see myself clearly, to fully accept and love myself, and feel empowered. This book is an excellent roadmap. It shows the Projector experience from the lighthouse perspective. On our life journey you can see a range of experiences; the beautiful ones where we use our gifts of insightful wisdom to guide others, while also honoring our process through the "sticky" places, our struggles--those potholes along the way. Those sticky places are GIFTS disguised as hardships. :) This book points the way and backs it up with depth of knowledge. It shines a bright light of truth! It truly ROCKED my socks off!!! Awakening insights within me that needed shaken up. It is truly a must read!!! Thank you Evelyn and Robin. You are fabulous teachers and healers! I'm a 3/5 Projector with Mental Authority and also a Level 4 Certified Human Design Specialist. I wasn't sure if I'd learn a lot but I really love Evelyn's work so I bought it anyway. I wanted to cry just from the Intro! I've really struggled to work with my Authority and I had several things click into place with this book. I feel much more clear on what I need to do to more easily make decisions. I've also been entirely baffled by how my clients get so much transformation when working with me but my own life can feel stubbornly stuck! And while I know Projectors can struggle to see their own path clearly something in the way she has written this book helped me release a lot of residual self-recrimination and shame. I cannot recommend this book highly enough!

Prior to reading this book, I believed I had a solid understanding of myself. However, this book profoundly explores the essence of being a Projector, offering an in-depth perspective from every angle. With numerous relatable examples, it resonated deeply with my identity and provided invaluable clarity and insight into my purpose. It illuminated both my unique gifts and areas for growth in a way that felt deeply empowering. If I could rate it 100 stars, I absolutely would. A must read if you’re a projector.

This is an ok book if you are absolutely new to human design and have recently discovered you're a projector. Other than that, if you've been in your HD experiment for any amount of time and are aware of your authority, profile lines, not self theme, etc, I'm not sure this book will be helpful to you. I found it quite basic and lacking nuance that HD deserves, but also ok if someone just wants low level info and an introduction. The author claims human design is not dogma and also shares things in a way I found to be more black and white than to my liking. If it's not dogma, I found it lacking the nuance to show that it's not a strict system. I have emotional authority and personally do not resonate with the section about emotional authority (projectors will have 1 of 5 possible authorities). It stated that if it's not a hell yeah throughout your wave, it's probably a no. That's not true for my experience and doesn't seem like it fits the emotional authority, which can have several waves and a ton of nuance. I've done some things that have been a "meh, ok I'll give it a go" and have turned out to be an amazing decision for me. Personally this book didn't land for me so I'll be giving it away. It might help someone, but not me. I know a lot goes into a book and it's clear this was a work of the heart, it just doesn't resonate with me.

Even after 30 years of personal growth work, this book was a game changer for me. It showed me exactly what I've been going through trying to live my "not-self" rather than my design. It exactly described my process and gave me permission to really start to relax and take care of myself. It's already improved my ability to relate with my husband, and I'm suddenly more relaxed, trusting, and ready to enjoy waiting for better invitations to live my soul purpose. Wonderfully done!

Thank you for giving me a manual of how to proceed in life!!! Yes, as a projector we suffer until we know that we need to wait to be invited. You brought all the principles of what it means to be a projector into a focus that I could study, learn and embody more empowering techniques than ever before. You broke new ground here.....we projectors SO needed this book. I underlined everywhere, dog-eared and studied the book on a 4 day retreat. It's just the right wording, repetition of the points, and gives us so much hope. I feel sorry for any Projector that does not have this book, or if you know one. 10 stars out of five Evelyn. thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Overall I enjoyed the book, and gleaned some helpful insights from it. I purchased it because as an entrepreneur, I am working on a marketing plan for my business and I wanted to be sure I am aligning with my Projector aura for success. After reading it, I do not have the clarity I'd hoped for. On the one hand, Levenson is very clear that any kind of assertive or "pushy" approach simply isn't going to work, and yet on page 209, "I am here to tell you that you can and must market and promote yourself and actively sell your services and products." Yet this space in between "pushy marketing" and setting up a Facebook page remains unclear. Marketing these days has a very wide scope. What would a successful projector marketing plan look like? This was the reason I purchased the book and this question remains unanswered. Another area that remains unclear to me as articulated in this book is this - yes, Projectors need invitations for the big opportunities in life: jobs, relationships, residences and do not need invitations to "do laundry, go to the grocery store, etc". This is, I dare say, obvious to anyone who has studied Projector Human Design at all. Levenson is laying out a pretty wide polarity with respect to invitations while doing nothing to fill in nuance. What about throwing a party? Can a projector throw a party? What about calling up a new acquaintance and inviting them to tea? Will this work for a projector? If a projector wants to go out to a night club and dance, do they need to be invited for the evening to be a success? Overall, this is a thorough book on what Human Design has to say about the Projector aura and what is required for it. But life is made of nuance and nuance is where this book is lacking.
