This is the worst quality imaginable! The threads on both ends of both valves could not be prevented from leaking. I first used 3 layers of teflon tape, same as on every other fitting for the pressure tank “T”, both brass and PVC. All others sealed perfectly except these valves. I tried next a very generous amount of the plumber’s paste thread sealer and they leaked worse. I then tried 10 layers of teflon tape on both valves and they still leaked. How is it possible for someone to create such a horrible quality product? It takes no more effort to cut correct threads in brass than wrong ones. The $1.50 PVC fittings all sealed correctly with 3 layers of teflon tape. The check valve I had to run out and buy at the local hardware store sealed perfectly first time with 3 layers of teflon tape just as it should. This product and manufacturer needs to be removed from Amazon, as they clearly produce junk, and cause people a lot of extra hassle when you insert their product, find you can’t seal it, then have to scramble to find another quality product while you have no water on your house. ... show more
