I searched for a long time to find a pizza stone that was big enough to fit the large (16") pizzas from the store. This is perfect to the T. I only wish it was easier to get burnt pieces off. I have other cooking stones and know it does take some time to season up. Overall I love it!

I like this thicker one. I keep it in the oven. Its large enough to make my pizzas I make. You need to use the metal peel to get under the pizza to take it out or you will end up messing your pizza. Best to just leave it on the stone for the amount of time then try and move it before. For cleaning it I just use my bench scraper I tried the steel wool at 1st but ended up using the bench scraper. I didn't find and odor from it.

This is a great pizza stone for a home chef and a good size if you’re making pizzas for 2-3 people. I’d also recommend getting a pizza peel of the same size so you know how big your dough should be. It definitely takes some time to preheat the stone but can consistently make good pizzas. I do want to try a pizza steel to see how it compares but so far I’m a happy customer! I just wish this was easier to clean

Adios to take-out or delivery! Oh my gosh, this stone is amazing! I've never used one before but I've been on a personal quest to make pizza so delicious that my family never wants to get chain pizza again. I read endless reviews on Amazon but when I came across this stone, I saw that there were many happy people who loved this specific stone from the seller Honey-Can-Do, I decided this was the ideal brand to try. I loved that they are a small business, making products in the US. It arrived two days ago in a very nice package completely protected. As stated by Amazon, it's not in an Amazon box. The shipping label was on the product box. I'll be keeping the box to store mine, without a doubt, with it's fitted interior to keep it safe. 5 stars! First, I read some people saying their stone had a bad order when they heated it. My stone did not. I followed the directions that are included. They are very easy to follow. I put the stone in the oven cold, on the bottom rack. Next, I heated the oven to 500 degrees and set the timer for 25 minutes. I got fresh dough shaped and ready. Once the timer went off, I placed the pizza (on a parchment paper ring) on the stone in the oven. It was perfect in 10 minutes!!! This crust was AMAZING. And the bottom? Just like a restaurant. Crisp and even from edge to edge. I can't express how much I love this stone! Thank you, Honey-Can-Do for making a wonderful US product. I'm so glad that I chose this and I hope you will continue to produce these stones for other people who want to make great breads and pizza at home. Bottom line? This stone does everything it promised to. And it had no flaws or problems while heating. I did allow it to cool in the oven to keep it from experiencing drastic temperature changes. That might not be necessary, but I want to have this for years to come.

This is an inexpensive tool to add better quality crust for the home pizza maker. BUT you will need a large wood or metal pizza peeler to get the pie on and off the stone. That is a MUST item because without it, it is nearly impossible to get the pizza onto the 500 degree stone. You do not make the pizza on the stone and then put it in the oven. Instead you heat the stone to about 500 degrees for a half an hour and then put the pizza on it using the wood or metal peeler. Then you remove it with the peeler as well. It’s a great tool, very easy to clean with water only - no soap should be used. . I give four stars because I only used it twice so I can’t speak for durability. But it seems to be solid piece of stone.

So far this stone has worked out fine, really like it much better than just putting the pizza on the oven rack. The stone seems to give nice even heat and delivers a good store bought pizza. Only real complaint would be it seems hard to clean if that is important to you, lots of do's and don't when it comes to cleaning. Overall we are satisfied with the performance.
