This is a wonderful cutting board! It looks and feels great. I've tested cutting kiwis on it and it holds up just fine. It comes with 4 adhesive rubber circles you can put on the bottom corners to make it non-slip. Using the rubber circles are completely optional though. For its price and the quality, I think this is a wonderful deal

Very durable, good quality
Update: 8/22/26 LOTS of great use but now it has broken in half. Was hoping it lasted a little longer. It was still a great buy! This cutting board have seen so many onions and other vegetables chopped on it. It’s very durable and very easy on my knives. This is wood, so it’s my preference not to put any type meats on it. A little soap and hot water and it’s clean for the next time. I would buy this product again, but next time a bigger one

I needed a board to cover the top of some antique sewing machine drawers. I found this cutting board with the size I needed! It fits pretty well! Later on, I could still use as a cutting board. It’s good quality and heavy weight. I love the checkerboard pattern! The wood is smooth and there’s a groove on one side of the board. It’s so pretty! Although I can’t review for its use as a cutting board, I’m sure it would work very well!

Beautiful Checkerboard with a Little Curvature
This is a beautiful cutting board. It is an end cut which is much better on the edge of my knife. It is a perfect size for my countertops (neither too large or small). It is a bit heavy, but that is a good thing in this instance to me. The only tiny thing that might be a flaw is that it does have a slight curvature in the middle. This actually helps any fluid flow towards the grooves and does not let it pool on the board. I don't know if this is built in or something that is not supposed to develop with use. I clean it off with hot water and some Dawn with a scrubber, but it does not stay soaking in the water at all and I dry it with a 100% cotton towel afterwards. The curvature of this cutting board is very even and looks intentional, so I do not think it is a defect. The only thing that could be better is the channel that is cut in it is rough and should have been finished better. Nothing a little sandpaper can't smooth out. All in all I think it's a wonderful cutting board. You should clean it well and get some good cutting board wax to keep it conditioned as well. I have a small defect in one square but it's nothing bad. So far I have no cracks and no massive warpage.

Better to pass on this one
I ordered this cutting board because of its “end grain” design and manageable size. After it arrived, I was a little skeptical about whether or not I would like it over the long haul. I’ve had it for 10 months, and here are my impressions. The good: Its size (for me) is nice. It’s big enough to not get crowded as you’re cutting up multiple items, but small enough to easily move one-handed to dump items into a fry pan or move to the sink for a wash. It has non-skid feet, which do their job, but keep in mind they also limit the board’s use to one side (ie, it’s not reversible). The bad: First up - the finish. This is technically an end-grain wooden board, but I have not a clue as to what the actual wood is. It is very porous (see pic), which could be an issue for keeping clean/sanitizing. It also has a weird texture, which feels “plasticky”. This texture causes my knives to bind up a little if they are at any angle other than perpendicular to the surface. One of the things I love about my thicker, more expensive end-grain boards is how my knives glide across the surface - a feeling that poly boards don’t have. The “binding” feeling on this board is more of an issue for me than the drag felt on a poly board. The finish is also wearing off. Another big knock against it is that it is now separating between the individual blocks. Separation between blocks in wooden end-grain boards can be an issue (which usually can be repaired), but given the other problems with this board, I don’t believe I’m going to take the time to fix it. I would add that I take care of my wooden cutting boards. I do wash them with soap and water (never a dishwasher), but they are never soaked and are dried immediately afterward. On my other boards, I oil them regularly, but I found any block oil on this board just stayed beaded up on the surface (probably due to whatever coating they applied to the wood). All in all, not terrible, but I definitely would not buy again and would advise other buyers to try a different product.

It’s good, it’s affordable

I was so excited to receive this chopping board, hoping that it would become my main chopping board. My old one was a little small and was a hand-me-down, but my excitement quickly turned into disappointment. I’ve had this chopping board for almost a month, and it already looks faded. I’ve used it no more than five times and have only washed it by hand. After washing it, I would simply let it air-dry. Then I noticed that the board was no longer flat—it had started to warp. This was my first time buying a THETCHRY chopping board, and based on this experience, I don’t think I would buy another product from this brand. Update: I was able to fix the chopping board by wetting it under the faucet, laying it flat on the counter with a towel underneath, and placing something heavy on top to weigh it down. After it dried, it was no longer warped. I also went and bought some mineral oil to help protect the wood from absorbing too much moisture when I wash it.
