This is a beautiful cutting board. It is an end cut which is much better on the edge of my knife. It is a perfect size for my countertops (neither too large or small). It is a bit heavy, but that is a good thing in this instance to me. The only tiny thing that might be a flaw is that it does have a slight curvature in the middle. This actually helps any fluid flow towards the grooves and does not let it pool on the board. I don't know if this is built in or something that is not supposed to develop with use. I clean it off with hot water and some Dawn with a scrubber, but it does not stay soaking in the water at all and I dry it with a 100% cotton towel afterwards. The curvature of this cutting board is very even and looks intentional, so I do not think it is a defect. The only thing that could be better is the channel that is cut in it is rough and should have been finished better. Nothing a little sandpaper can't smooth out. All in all I think it's a wonderful cutting board. You should clean it well and get some good cutting board wax to keep it conditioned as well. I have a small defect in one square but it's nothing bad. So far I have no cracks and no massive warpage.

I’m really impressed with this wooden cutting boards. The quality feels excellent right out of the box—solid construction, smooth finish, and no rough edges. I honestly didn’t expect to like this cutting board as much as I do. It looks great in person and feels very solid and well-made, not cheap at all. It’s lighter than I expected, which is a nice bonus. The size is perfect for everyday cooking, and the juice groove actually works instead of letting liquids spill everywhere. The non-slip pads keep the board from moving around and come separately, so you can choose where to place them or not use them at all, which I really appreciate. I’ve been using it daily and it’s holding up extremely well. It is much better than my old cutting boards. The built-in handle is a great touch and makes it work perfectly as a serving board when friends come over. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. Just a quick reminder—not dishwasher safe. Putting it in the dishwasher will damage the board.

I am so impressed with this THETCHRY cutting board! I ordered this cutting board because of its “end grain” design and manageable size. After it arrived, I was a little skeptical about whether or not I would like it over the long haul. I’ve had it for 10 months, and here are my impressions. The good: Its size (for me) is nice. It’s big enough to not get crowded as you’re cutting up multiple items, but small enough to easily move one-handed to dump items into a fry pan or move to the sink for a wash. It has non-skid feet, which do their job, but keep in mind they also limit the board’s use to one side (ie, it’s not reversible). The bad: First up - the finish. This is technically an end-grain wooden board, but I have not a clue as to what the actual wood is. It is very porous (see pic), which could be an issue for keeping clean/sanitizing. It also has a weird texture, which feels “plasticky”. This texture causes my knives to bind up a little if they are at any angle other than perpendicular to the surface. One of the things I love about my thicker, more expensive end-grain boards is how my knives glide across the surface - a feeling that poly boards don’t have. The “binding” feeling on this board is more of an issue for me than the drag felt on a poly board. The finish is also wearing off. Another big knock against it is that it is now separating between the individual blocks. Separation between blocks in wooden end-grain boards can be an issue (which usually can be repaired), but given the other problems with this board, I don’t believe I’m going to take the time to fix it. I would add that I take care of my wooden cutting boards. I do wash them with soap and water (never a dishwasher), but they are never soaked and are dried immediately afterward. On my other boards, I oil them regularly, but I found any block oil on this board just stayed beaded up on the surface (probably due to whatever coating they applied to the wood). All in all, not terrible, but I definitely would not buy again and would advise other buyers to try a different product.
