This cleanser is lightweight but does a nice job at making my skin feel clean but it also isn’t drying. It doesn’t have much of a scent and washed off without leaving any residue on my skin. The product is too small and doesn't last you even a month. In my opinion, it's pretty expensive for the amount of product you get. Besides, the serum is not strong enough to fight off blemishes or discoloration. I give it one star because it is lightweight and gentle for anyone with sensitive skin, but it's only meant for that skin type. I wouldn't suggest it for acne prone or dry skin types. After a few days, I wanted to return it, but I would have to pay for the shipping fee. Instead, I kept it for my body and just no longer used it on my face. This is watery and easily absorbs and spreads well. It is high in salicylic acid to dry out the area which should work for most acne. Unfortunately it was not right for my skin and caused more whiteheads near the area of application 3x (I used an extra 2 times to make sure it wasn't just by chance). I have combination skin. I find the Honest Beauty serum effective for combatting oily skin concerns (i.e. clogged pores from excess sebum, occasional breakout) yet gentle enough for daily use. It has proven anti-acne ingredients such as salicylic acid, azelaic acid, niacinamide, and zinc PCA. That said, my skincare routine would still benefit to use a stronger product, whether it be a higher percentage exfoliant or retinoid, 1-2x's a week in combination with the serum. ... show more

Get Clarity Cream to Foam Acne Cleanser has sulfur so it does smell like sulfur. It's not the rotten egg kind of sulfur though. It smells like a match strike and it isn't too unpleasant. I only use it at night for this reason. The scent stays on your skin for a bit. The scent also transfers to towels, even though I made sure to rinse it really well.
