I have had no luck with Honest products but this one actually works! It's not too soft and not too hard. The soft black covers white hairs. Stays on all day with no irritation. Sharpens easily. Goes on easily. Washes off with soap and water. I could do without the spoolie that is attached to the opposite end of the pencil. I don't use it and it is a nuisance. It is hard to find a good brow pencil that you actually sharpen now days. Everything is either a pomade, mascara or odd shaped retractable. This product is fine. It applies smoothly. The pencil is a good size and has a brush at one end. The light blonde was out of stock so I ordered the warm blonde. It really isn't blonde, it's brown. I usually use Burt's Bees eyebrow stick. This is pretty comparable and is supposed to be "clean" beauty and not tested on animals so give it a try. ... show more

I found this on the EWG product directory for being a nontoxic eyebrow pencil. It works great, lasts long, and I feel good wearing it, however the warm blonde is darker than I expected and is more like an ash blonde color.

Color is a little dark for a true blonde but a for a “dirty blonde” or dark blonde it works well. It’s a little soft for me. The point dulls easily because it’s so soft.

East to use. I bought it mainly because it’s got relatively safe cosmetic ingredients. See “Environmental working group” cosmetics database. I’ve since discovered eyebrow wax which works even better.
