It is very cute, and my daughter likes it for her bed. It is a stiff fabric, and not like a thick quilt, a bedspread, I suppose. It also, does not look like the picture. We ordered a twin, which may or may not be the difference in looks. The scalloped edging goes to the floor, and there is no solid blue skirting. No problem, since, I dislike returning items if it is not necessary, we will purchase a bed skirt. I have not washed it yet, but hoping for the best. The print is very cheerful calico prints, with blue flowers and pinstripes, which is very feminine. The stitching is tight, I see no loose strings. I however noticed there was no manufacturer's label on the zippered bag it came in, which was odd. Also, no care instructions, but, I will wash it in cold with a mild detergent. ... show more

So pretty and perfect for the autumn season. The material is nicely soft. It’s just warm enough without being too heavy. Great quality. Washes & dries very nicely. I chose king size for my queen bed because I like it to drape on the sides and this is perfect for that. Finding matching cushions was easy because the colors are so popular this season. I am sooooo happy with this quilted set! It truly is lovely and comes with two shams. That's a big deal. You usually have to pay for them separately. The queen fits amply, room to drape over and meet the dust ruffle where it should. Brightens the room and adds color, in a very good way. Bought this cause of the color and the fact it looks like the "old timie" quilts that our grandmother's use to make. I wash this every week and it still looks new. Have had so many compliments about it. Will definitely buy another if this 1 ever gets damaged.

Photos really don’t do this justice. It is a beautiful mixture of greys, pinks, whites, blues, and browns. I was hesitant to purchase this based on the color schemes in the description photos because it looked purple and bright pink and I wasn’t too fond of that. However, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the color pattern and it really is beautiful. I’m attaching a photo with a purple blanket so you can see the comparison of the quilt vs a true purple. The description says “grey border”, however, it really isn’t grey but more of a mixture of greens and yellows. It’s pretty, but I didn’t really like the look of the border. However, I absolutely love the patch work that’s on the other side and think it fits my country theme perfectly. I’ve also attached a photo of a more up-close look so you can see the true colors of the quilt vs the stock photos. The pink flowers are a little bright for my taste but flow nicely with the color pattern. I really couldn’t believe how big this quilt is. Normally, I’m struggling to get enough length to cover down the mattress of my king sized bed, which is 14 inches and anticipated this to be an issue but it was the exact opposite. Even with a 14 inch mattress and a 14 inch bed frame, the quilt almost goes to the floor. Overall, it’s a beautiful light-weight quilt and I’m very happy with it. I will update if I have any issues with fading after washing but I really hope that it doesn’t happen because it really is beautiful and just what I was looking for. ... show more
