I like to sew and to do crafts, and I like throw pillows that compliment the design of the room. In recent years the market began selling throw pillow covers separate from the pillow inserts, which I suppose is a good idea if you like changing the covers for holidays and special events but have limited storage space. Seriously, 20 pillow folded covers fit in a small linen closet that 20 stuffed pillows would never go into. Sometimes I want an extra pillow or to make a pillow as a gift, undoubtedly I will not have enough of any fiber fill on hand. When my best friend's husband died, her daughter asked me to make a pillow from his favourite t-shirt, with her mother's approval of course, so she could have something of his to hug to her. It meant the world to her. I have some pillows that I really like that are in need of new stuffing, and I am about to rock their world with memory foam this time! When I saw this product I was thrilled. Let me tell you; it does not disappoint. It comes vacuum packed, and your first thought may be, no way, but I caution you, do not open it in the middle of the floor or table. Lay it inside a large bag, (I chose a tall kitchen waste bag with draw strings), reach into the opening and cut the vacuum packed bag across the top and down both sides, flip it over and press the compacted product out, then sit back and watch the show. The picture I added was about 10 minutes after opening it, with the fluffed up foam laying beside the flat clear plastic bag it was vacuum packed in. Some of the yellow pieces of the foam were stuck together, and being the impatient person I sometimes am, I spent a few minutes pulling them apart. I suspect had I been patient they would have separated on their own when they had finished fluffing up. I have a pillow with wolves on it that my husband likes, I am not sure what happened to the fiber fill, but it is lumpy and bumpy. This memory foam will resolve that nicely. I couldn't wait to see how the foam felt, so I laid my head down on the plastic bag I have it in. It has a nice cushion and regained the original shape quickly after lifting my head. I could not detect a smell when I opened the original packaging. I see lots of revived and new pillows in my future without buying expensive pillow inserts. Great product.

You get a lot of stuffing in this bag. Enough to fill a large box and the smaller pieces are great for pillows and toys. The only downside is they are stuck together when they first arrive. So I sat down to a movie and mindlessly pulled them apart during the movie. It goes quickly. They do make nice pillows and I would get these again.

I got some inexpensive shredded foam pillows a few months ago. When I took out some of the foam to get it where I liked it, the foam was really cheap and had a lot of fibery material like polyfill in it. I store it in a big ziploc bag to keep for later. Eventually I felt like I wanted to add more foam back, but the bag of it had been inadvertently thrown away. When I got this bag of foam, it's a much nicer material than what was in the pillows originally. I ended up throwing away most of the cheaper foam and replacing it with this. I don't really find that the pillows are any cooler than before, but they're somehow more comfortable.

This stuffing works perfect in an old worn out bean bag. It fluffs up nicely when you open it up and it retains it's form well once in the bag. It would probably take two or three for a big joe size beanbag chair. No funky smell. Sometimes this type of foam smells weird, but thankfully this doesn't. I would recommend.

Easiest filling to use for pillow and homemade stuffed animals. I mainly use it to firm up my supposedly "firm" pillows that aren't as firm as I would like. Separate this filler and let it expand and relax some before stuffing your pillow or toy to avoid any lumps forming. Holds up much better than any other type of filling I have used.
