Sadly, this brand new out of the box generator will not pair with my iPhone. I’ve tried it a dozen times and followed directions to a T. The generator is top of the line but why Honda would chose to release bad software to associate with the generator is beyond me.

I first used this style and brand of generator when I was on a two week deployment to Hurricane Katrina. This generator ran 24/7 for the duration of the deployment. I have purchased 3 of these units for my personal use and used them for emergency power during several hurricanes. They are extremely durable and easy to use and very reliable.     • Easy to set up and start
Received my Generator a day early. Added oil, and gas, set choke, pulled 6 times and it started. Plugged in my chest freezer, and it worked every time the compressor kicked on, then would go back to normal run speed. It was much quieter than most generators, but probably not quiet enough to camp with in state or national park campgrounds at night. The oil fill kind of stinks, so I recommend a funnel with a flexible hose end, and fill slowly. I haven’t drained the gas tank yet, so we’ll see if that’s a pain, or not later. It’s pretty small for storage too. I may add a small cart so my wife can move it more easily, at 47+ lbs it’s a bit cumbersome to just grab and walk around with. The rubber feet keeps it stable and in one place on my garage floor when running. I’m pretty pleased! ... show more

    • The seller promotes this item as a 120V generator when it is actually two (2) 110-v ports.
This generator does not have a 30amp service plug for my camper. Honda adds both 110V ports and adds them to create a 120v generator which this is not. The seller actually suggested that I buy a second $1,000 generator and hook them in line to create the 120-v 30 amp outlet that I need. Terrible customer service. ... show more
