I run this in tandem with another Honda 2200 for my camper and so far so good. I'm on my fourth week and it runs like a champ. I am able to run the the A/C and everything else I need to with no problems. I camp all week long for my job and run it in the morning for about an hour to brew my coffee and run it a few hours in the evening to power the A/C, my phone booster and computer to run reports and catch up on news ect. I was using a Firman 3300, but have had nothing but problems with it. It has been in the shop three times and is still not running properly. Lesson learned the hard way. I have a few other Honda generators so I knew what I was getting. Use as a companion with another Honda it will run you whole RV ( mine 5th wheel, Montana High country 2 air conditioners ) you cannot go wrong getting the Honda. Easy to change oil and service. Bought this and the regular 2200. Install parallel cable and I have all the power I need for my off road camping trips. Very quite and almost forget to shut down when I go to bed. You get expected quality from Honda

Idling it is relatively quiet. The noise level increases when appliances are used. It's quieter than other brands. When filled with gas it is a little heavy, can be moved fairly easily. Honda sets the price so they sell a great product at an affordable cost. A cheaper brand will irritate camping neighbors with the higher noise level. ... show more
