Generator was shipped Monday via FedEx from Tennessee, and arrived in San Francisco, CA, Thursday morning. It came in its original red Honda cardboard box - undamaged, and I’m glad it wasn’t stolen along the way, as Honda Generators are quite hot commodity these days. After adding engine oil and gasoline it started immediately and I ran it for 15 minutes. The vendor, MaxTool, was a pleasure to deal with, ensuring me that if the generator was damaged during shipping they’ll take care of it immediately. Bottom line is that I’m super pleased as you can’t find Honda generators in California anymore, so I consider myself super lucky. ... show more

I received the Honda 2200iTAN1 generator on July 22 before noon ahead of Amazon scheduled. The package delivered to my front door in good shape. Went ahead tested it out after adding engine oil and gasoline. It was not starting when I pull the ignition coil but then realized the carb choke was in open position after looking up the users manual. After move it the close position then the generator finally started after 2-3 pulls. It runs very quite. I wish Honda put better icons or letter on top of the choke level so user won't be frustrated like me. Overall it is a excellent product and I am sure I will enjoy the cool portal AC , a 10,000BTU unit with this generator. Will consider a second unit next year. ... show more
