Great value and much better pricing than at the box stores, which only seem to sell the smaller bottles. Purchased the genuine Honda oil for use with our Honda lawn mower and generator. Honda has updated from the red label on these containers so these are the newest stock. Item was packaged well but was placed in quite a large box with inadequate packaging.     • Formulated for power equipment engines - good stuff
You could use conventional motor oil in your generator or pressure washer but it's not the best idea. Vehicle engines are cooled by oil that is pumped through the system. Small power equipment engines are cooled by the oil being sloshed/splashed around in the crankcase. Normal motor oil for cars can get foamy/bubbly in small power equipment engines, which reduces it's effectiveness. I use this Honda oil in my pressure washer which has a Honda engine, but also in my two generators (Wen and Westinghouse) that don't have Honda engines.
