    • Perfect replacement for 2004 Pilot
The transmission was shifting funny sometimes and would occasionally throw a fault code on my 2004 Pilot. I actually lived with it for several years since it wouldn't happen very often, but when my wife started driving the car, she seemed to get them a lot more frequently. Difference in driving style, I guess. I decided it was finally time to do something about it, so I researched the fault code and found that it pointed to this sensor. I wanted a genuine Honda part, and the price was reasonable here, so I ordered one. Installation was a breeze. Just unplug the cable from the sensor, remove the old one, install the new one, plug it back in. It's relatively easy to get to. Plenty of videos on YouTube. The transmission is functioning perfectly again. Who knows how much a shop would have charged, and with 220,000 miles on the car they probably would have just told me I needed a new transmission for 1000's. Very happy this solved my problem. Should be good for another 200K! :-) ... show more

This takes less than 10 minutes to install if done correctly and fit perfectly. It has been working correctly for a while now and I recommend it for the price and the fact that is works for the intended purpose!

    • Works great! Seems to be legit OEM Honda part.
Used this on a 2005 Honda Pilot, I replaced the same P/N switches on my 2008 Acura TL as well. I was initially concerned this might be counterfeit part, as the price is 30% lower than online Honda dealers sell them for. I had already purchased 2x of this from an Acura dealer for my TL, and thought to give these a try to replace on my Pilot. It appears these are indeed Honda genuine, and thus far these really cleaned up the shifts on my Pilot (& my TL as well w/ dealership sourced parts). I was having slight slip 2nd-3rd shift when cold, followed by a JERKY 3rd-4th shift under light throttle both hot & cold. Thus far all shift quality is now very crisp and direct. Very satisfied, plus this is significantly cheaper than online retailers! If you own a Honda or Acura vehicle, replacing these switches w/ OEM quality parts can definitely be beneficial to shift quality! ... show more

    • **OEM 2006 Honda Pilot 4th Pressure Switch**
I had the “flashing D” for over a year and it would come and go. Recently it had started to flash more often than not so I went to AutoZone and had them run their code reader on my 2006 Honda Pilot. It came back with the 4th pressure switch high code, meaning it needed replacing. So after searching for info high and low and reading every Pilot forum and watching a million YouTube videos, I bought this switch and my fiancé changed it out. It was very simple. He took the battery out to get to the switch so he went from the top down instead of from the side like a lot of YouTube videos show. So far it has corrected the flashing D! I also purchased a generic 10mm copper crush water from Amazon. You must have a new crush washer to keep transmission fluid from leaking. Even though this one looks a little longer than the original one you will take off, this is the correct OEM replacement for the 4th pressure switch. ... show more

The part is slightly large than the factory one, also the color is different 3rd switch OEM is light grey and this one was sent white, when in reality should be the black one . I bought the one for 2nd and 3rd switch but the difference of the colors and the length is so confusing with the factory one. I have the service manual and I according to my car the light grey is on the 3rd switch and the brown switches on the 2nd and 4th. I ended up installing them backwards, but so far not problem. I wanted to make sure I used an OEM part, especially because I've watched a few youtube video's with mechanics talking about how poorly made some of the knock offs were. Once this sensor was installed the check engine light and the code disappeared. I've put about 500 miles on it since the installation and no problems at all.
