  • 100 amp circuit breaker
Color: 100A
Looks pretty good and it works great.

  • Great product
Color: 150A
Hello great product, after about 6 months the old one with a fuse in it would stop working. The internal would gain to much tolerance and not make contact with the fuse and stop working. I switch to this because its built different seemed like a solid one piece construction

  • Easy to install and worked great, would buy again
Color: 100A
Got this to use as a fuse/circuit breaker on a solar powered portable audio system I carry around on my Kayak. It was easy to install and it seems to be of good quality. They don't seem to be cheap plastic, and so far seem to be able to handle all weather. I like having the ability to check for a short and then reset the breaker if I need to, it has saved on the cost of fuses. When the circuit opens it provides a solid click and holds for about a minute before allowing closure. Worked every time . I like the quality and how easy these are to install and use. Sure beats a one time fuse and you can disconnect it when you're working on the system. I have these installed on everything. ... show more

  • How these really work
Color: 40A
I did some testing on these and find that they did in fact trip more or less as expected within a range. I use these as both an on and off switch and a fuse, sometimes on mission critical stuff I have a regular fuse as well. These act more as a "slo-blo" fuse rather than an instant off circuit breaker inside certain ranges. They will blow instantly but only if you go way up in amperage. First off, remember, these aren't a fuse, they are a circuit breaker and their tripping or lack there of come down to several factors, including but not limited to: 1. Rated current 2. Ambient temperature 3. Tripping current 4. Tipping time 5. Tripping range And more factors than this. With a mild overload within the correct voltage range it can take an hour for these things to heat up and trip. Thus as I mentioned, the "slo-blo" type of thing. There is something called a circuit breaker trip curve and an instantaneous trip amperage. All of this factors in. When rated at 40 amp like these, they don't instantaneously trip at 41A or whatever. Why? Because what if you have an item you turn on and it pulls 80 amps for a second or two while a motor spins up. You'd be tripping it all the time and calling it a piece of crap. On higher end versions of DC Circuit breakers (Marine, Aerospace etc.) you can actually set the instantaneous trip. Look around and you might be able to find the trip curve for breakers like this and get some idea of how this one will work for you if you're worried about it. To make good use of these and build in a safety margin, up your wire size by 1 and you'll be sure not to burn anything. Your wire should always be able to handle way more than your trip setting. So if you need to pull 35 amps constant, and use a 40 amp version of these, remember they could run for hours possibly at 50 amps before they got hot enough to trip, where as, say 150 amps, would trip it instantly. Size wire accordingly. I hope you found this helpful. ... show more

  • Not reliable and trips way under the rating
Color: WE150A
I bought both styles of circuit breaker from this vendor. The inline style and the waterproof style. Both breakers were rated for 150A. I used the inline style on a small 15KW solar system/battery bank. It was a redundant fuse in place for the Growatt 3KW inverter. The breaker tripped a few times during a 1 month period of time when running loads that were around 2000W or 80-85A current. After that, the breaker became unreliable and started to randomly shut off power with anything about 40A continuous draw. It did not trip the breaker though. It just cut power intermittently so that the inverter would shut off and restart. This happened for a while. I thought it was a faulty inverter but upon tearing down the system, I found that the breaker was the culprit. Also when it cut power, it wouldn't trip the breaker. The breaker is stuck in the closed position so now it wouldn't be able to be tripped and would always supply power. Dangerous situation. Now I also bought the waterproof version of this breaker to fit onto my fully electric boat build to be a redundant breaker for the outboard which draws 125A max current. I have a shunt monitoring the output of the motor and it never exceeded 125A. However, the breaker tripped which caused it to cut power abruptly while in the middle of the water. Now that's fine, I went and reset the breaker, but everytime there after, it became unreliable like the in-line breaker and would cut power randomly when drawing anything above 40A of continuous current. Anyway, moral of this story, this is an unreliable product that is dangerous in some situations. Do not buy this if you need to draw more than 40A and maybe size up your breaker if you have no other option. Regardless, I would not recommend it and I will search for a better product in the future. ... show more

World like a charm once the voltage surge it automatically shut off and protect your electrical system from being damaged I run it from my battery to my fuse box! That way you'll not often worry about blowing fuse or damaged your fuse box from electrical issues
