I could tell it was way too dark before I opened the bottle. It feels great on the skin, it looked great on my mother who has more color in her completion, but was even too dark for her. I would have LOVED to have tried a lighter shade, but it couldn’t be exchanged. The shade is CN Ivory, to me that’s misleading because it’s not ivory at all. Just be aware if you have a pale/fair/light completion like myself. I have severe psoriasis - and severe dark circles under my eyes - so I have had to use a concealer - until I found this product - which does both: Foundation and Concealer. However, this bottle seemed a little old - and a little dry. Normally I can't rave enough about this product.
