  • OEM is Best
I tried 3 of the aftermarket carbs on my Honda 2000i generator, they all failed to run correctly. The wire connections were also not compatible without cutting and splicing (i made a jumper harness so i didnt have to cut wires to test so i could return the carb if necessary). Had to return all 3., So i finally bought this OEM Honda carb. It bolted right on and all the connections plugged in correctly with no splicing. The generator started right up after inital priming and ran like it did when new. ... show more

  • USIUAL OVER PRICED HIONDA ITEM
Did not solve my problem and the usual Honda rip off price. My Champion carbs cost $17 straight from Champion. Slight difference. Honda don't make these, same with Champion. Eventually Honda are going to get sunk because there is no reason to pay all that money out. They go wrong exactly the same as other cheaper brands. ... show more

  • 15 minutes to install; now it starts and runs great!
The carburetor comes with everything you need except the gaskets. Order them separately. The carburetor is replaced very quickly and easily with just a multi-driver. Get new filters while you are at it since you will have them out anyway. I had to replace mine because I hadn't run it in a long time and the original carburetor was all plugged up. ... show more

  • Works perfect on Honda 2000 eu Generator
Knocked a star off because I hate OEM price gauging and Honda acts like Alaska is a foreign countrt when it comes to support. I only needed the throttle control motor but they were asking almost the whole carb price just to get a $3 part. Other than that, it works perfect and my Honda 2000 eu purrs again. Carb was looking old anyway. Make sure to get gaskets if your old ones are toast. It does not come with any. I guess they couldn't afford that level of customer service insight with their price point (rolls eyes). Do the install yourself. It's one of the easiest DIYs ever. ... show more

  • Fixed my surging problem on my eu2000i
This carb came in a oem Honda box and was an identical replacement. I deep cleaned my old carb multiple times pilot jet and main had the carb off numerous times and would always surge the throttle on eco mode. Swapped the carb and it’s back to normal well worth the money and Amazon was cheapest I could find it around, was quoted 200+ at lawnmower repair shop. Very happy with the purchase ... show more

  • Not a Cheap Knockoff
I looked at the cheap ~$30 carbs and what was needed to install them with wiring connector problems etc. I am not at all mechanically inclined but the thought of hauling the Honda generator to the repair shop, waiting for it to be done, and paying hundreds of $$ was unappealing. I found installation videos on YouTube, bought the few tools needed and the Honda OEM carburetor. The tail gate of my truck was a great outdoor work bench. I installed it in 30" which included going back into the house twice to recheck the YouTube videos. It started up after the 8th pull and it worked like new. FYI-The videos didn't pay too much attention to the wiring which was easy: pop the white top off the old carb, disconnect the plug, and reconnect the new carburetor. Make sure you have an 8mm socket wrench and a 10mm ratchet wrench and SMALL vice grip pliers to clamp off the fuel line while you work. ... show more
