These are a wonderful addition to the kitchen arsenal! They are long and big, they probably are about a foot long. The silicon is easy to clean and it has a cute design on them! Definitely won't be getting burned again anytime soon!

    • Solid mitts that tolerate more than their cloth brethren

The cloth variety that I've had in the past have been subject to at least two faults: they can burn, leaving a permanent reminder of your faux pas, and one tends to "feel the heat" fairly quickly. In contrast, thus far these mitts have not burned, I've felt the heat - but much longer after their predecessors, and they're more solid, bending but not as easily...it's kind of like the difference between bending a pillow to bending a sofa cushion. They're so solid that I hang them on a large hook (in a set of 20 that are very useful for hanging things in the garage in particular) that I've put on a cabinet door know next to my stove/oven.
