This unit came well packaged and was easy to assemble. It is well-made and holding up extremely well. One caveat is I have it under an upper deck cover so it’s not exposed directly to sunlight. The unit is well built, and the hardware appears to be all stainless steel on the inside, the swing out doors on the front are a polymer, but they are very heavy duty, so I do not expect any problems with . I purchased it so that a Blackstone grill would not be exposed to the elements and it is working out very well for me.. it’s not that I would say that it’s air but definitely bug tight with the exception of maybe ants. I haven’t had any but it closes up that well.. I started out with just a rain cover, and was having all kinds of problems with insects, and even some little varmints getting into the Blackstone. This well-made unit completely solved that problem, very happy with it, and worth the money for sure. This was the perfect solution for our needs. It was easy to build and doesn’t take up too much space. It did take 2 people to build (one to hold things in place and the other to screw things in). A power drill helped make the process go faster! The instructions were very clear and the pieces were solid quality. Nice storage box. Easy to assemble for the most part. Except instructions to add the lid were very perplexing and did not accurately reflect the instructions diagrams provided. The entire process took about 2.5 hours but nearly half of that was to add the lid!

I would say this is one of my favorite things I’ve ever purchased. I live in a one bedroom apartment with a patio. My apartment only has one closet in my bedroom for my clothes— it is a walk in and I was able to fit some plastic storage totes throughout but I was left with a bunch with no place to store them. I found this mini storage shed and after measuring my patio space as well as my totes, I saw that it would fit perfectly. I am so happy I bought it! It came fast and it easily fit all my extra stuff— it easily could fit 10 totes— 5 totes stacked on each side with some space in between (see photos). I also love the style of it and it looks so nice on my patio! It’s exactly what I needed and has allowed me to declutter my place. I live in florida am interested to see how my stuff holds up to the heat inside of it— but it’s under a covered patio so it really doesn’t get direct sun or rain so I believe it is perfect for where I have it. This was such an easy solution to my storage problem and I’m so excited to have found something so wonderful! The assembly process was a tad challenging by myself but I totally managed. This would be much much easier with two people but if you are handy and can follow directions and enjoy engineering, you’ll be just fine alone. I used a drill to get the screws in faster and it helped. I finished the assembly in under 3 hours alone. I am a 70 year old grammy and was a bit hesitant to purchase this item since a lot of reviews stated that it takes two persons to assemble. I had no problems assembling it by myself. I spent more time studying the instructions than actual assembling. Took approximately 4 hours, but I was also watching TV at the time I was doing it. I was not disappointed in the time I spent on assembly, but that being said, there are two things that would have made the job easier and quicker. First of all, it would have been helpful to me if the instructions would have clearly stated whether the top and bottom panels are interchangeable or if they are not. Therefore I very carefully studied all the pictures as well as all the panels. Don't know if I just got lucky, but everything went together perfectly the first time. But as I said, would have been nice if directions included this info. The second thing: Had the screwdriver been magnetized, I would have spent a lot less time looking for dropped screws. The cabinet looks really nice, but for the price I had expected it to be more solid construction. The panels are somewhat thin and flimsy, but once put together it doesn't wobble like I thought it might. I just wish the panels were all a bit heavier/thicker. So, as to waterproof and sturdiness, I will have to update in a year or so. I have it on my back porch which has a roof, so it won't be getting rained on. As for sturdiness, I have 9 grandkids, 5 of them boys who are pretty rough and tumble. I will be storing a lot of their toys in the cabinet, so we'll see how it holds up. ... show more

I was able to build it without help. The door on the right is difficult to shut because it does not allign properly. I have to kick the door gently at the bottom to shut it and jiggle it to open it. Looks great. The latch for the lock is very cheap and can be broken with a strenuous pull or pry bar. Do not expect the lock latch to prevent theft if someone is determine to break into the shed. It does the job I want so I am happy with it, mainly because it looks good and holds my garden tools. I painted the roof of the shed and hinges white so it would be less conspicuous to the neighbors. New stickers with up arrows let you easily identify the top pieces even though the part numbers stamped on the upper and lower siding are the same and look identical. Don't overtighten the metal screws into the plastic or it will strip the plastic and screws will be loose. Instructions were good and assembly straight forward. All parts present and even spare parts bag included. Does not come with shelves. I bought an extra shelf which works great. Recommend assembling it in the place where it will be placed permanently, as it is heavy and barely fits through house doors if you have to move it. Getting a level flat foundation is critical if putting it in the yard. Worth it for what you pay. Glad I bought it but not real happy with the right door which sticks when opening and closing the door. ... show more
