This rug fit perfectly in our space. It’s very soft. We didn’t have any smell like others have mentioned. Bumps smoothed out after a couple of days. The only down side is one end does not have the pattern cut straight. It’s not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing and this does come in a shrink type package. I ordered two of these the first one I opened and did not follow the instructions. followed the directions for the second one and opened the package let it plump up then took it out of package laid it flat for 24 hours and the wrinkles were gone and it looks nice under my dining room table. It is very soft and the color is lovely. The rug is very soft and just enough padding. It is not super thick but in my opinion perfect. The other one I will be using in my living area that I did not follow directions when opening does have an area with a bunch of wrinkles but I have laid it out and for 3 days now before putting in living area and they are disappearing There was not a smell like some were writing about it was ever so faint and was gone within an hour. I am very happy I purchased and my advice is follow the directions when opening. For the price these are great and I would buy more if I have the need loved they arrived next day too. ... show more

This was for a spot under a dog bed, and it fit perfectly. The foam is soft and plush and the nap of the actual rug is very nice on the feet… …however, be prepared to toss it in the washer as soon as you get it. It has a horrible chemical smell that gave me a terrible headache. Febreeze on it’s own didn’t work, so I washed it with detergent and hung it to dry. Once dry I used Febreeze again and was finally able to bring it back into the room and lay it down. Happy that it was washable, especially since it’s for a pet area, and I haven’t noticed any return stinky, so overall a good deal. ... show more

It very soft and nice but the smell from it is so strong I’ve vacuumed it’s 3 times and put carpet fresh on it and it’s taking over my living room with the smell 👃 very very strong

I love this rug. It's soft and squishy like a bath mat but not as thick. The memory foam inside is so nice on your feet. The quality is definitely better than your expect for the price. The non-slip backing works fairly well, I have faux wood laminate and it doesn't move. I have not used a vacuum on it yet, so may update but honestly this is an awesome rig for the price. I was so happy with this area rug. The package came in a vacuum sealed bag, and when I took it out, it was all wrinkly and stiff. I put it in the dryer for about 10 minutes and it came out so fluffy and soft with no creases. It came out perfect so very happy
