Make sure before you buy you have a sturdy beam in the ceiling located where you want to hang it. Once it goes up it doesn't come down. The hardware and the pillows don't come with it, but I got the hardware at the hardware store for less than 5 bucks and I just used 2 rectangular throw pillows that were in storage. My 6ft 2, 200+ pound 16 year old uses in it all the time. It is still in great shape after about 4 months, but I imagine its gonna last years, it isn't showing any signs of wearing out. The one issue I have with it is once you hang it from celing it isn't coming down anytime soon. If you want to be able to move it I would get one with the metal swing frame to hang it from. These were very easy to assemble and work great for my hammock swing set (my husband said I’m not allowed to call it a an adult or grown up swing set) I absolutely love them, but they’re getting 4 stars instead of 5 because the cushions weren’t included like the picture showed. If I knew that, I would’ve chosen ones that were a couple dollars cheaper, but they still work amazing. First, there are no instructions. Second, no pocket as it claims to have. Third 1/4" rope supplied is not sturdy enough. To make it work.. had to double the rope. Had to use a bar from my hammock across the top of the chair to keep it from collapsing and suffocating me in the chair. Had to fold the bottom seat part under to double the strength seating area, place several layers of cardboard and a padded picnic blanket as a seat. The top 3 back string wraps had to go around the bar so there was a "back" in the chair to lean into. The knot that the chair hangs from is tied in the wrong spot for use as a chair. The top knot is tied for use as a half of hammock to lay down on. After all the modifications, buying hardware, and figuring out how to successfully hang the chair to be functional, i rated it as 3 stars. Would I recommend this product to an average person, no, I would Not Recommend it. If you want something cheap, and temporary that required spending more money than the cost of the chair, just to be able to hang it for use, then go for it. Only reason I kept it is because I hate returning things, because it's a headache. ... show more

We have had this for less than 2 months and already 2 of the ropes have snapped. Our son is 115 pounds - this is not very sturdy at all.
