This was much easier to assemble than I anticipated. Took me 2.5 hours but I did it by myself and took lots of breaks (62 YO woman.) Our TV is wall mounted so it doesn’t sit on the stand, but this stand feels sturdy and has plenty of storage for our needs. Like some other reviewers mentioned, pay close attention to direction of holes because it’s easy to get confused when assembling upside down. I did have to partially disassemble and start over one time due to having the middle board the wrong direction. Also pay attention to the legs; they also have screw holes that must face the front to mount part of the door assembly (the small “M” pieces). ... show more

This turned out to be a really nice piece of furniture. I needed something for an weird corner of my office which is in a bonus space above the garage and doesn't have normal height ceilings. It worked like a charm. It took me about 35-40 mins to put together by myself. It was simple and straight forward. The directions were very easy to follow. I loved the fact that it was shorter than the standard height so it would fit my low walls/ceiling once the TV was on it. The piece didn't weigh much because it is made of thinner pieces of press board. Time will tell how long it will hold up to the weight of my older 47 inch plasma tv but so far so good. ... show more
