First off, this is not a traditional bean bag chair filling, as I knew them back in the day. This is filled with polyester batting and not styrofoam beads. This means the chair has a lot more structural support (you don't sink to the very bottom when you sit on it. It does need a few days to expand up after taking it out of the vacuum sealed plastic, and it will smell a little funny initially. But everything is fine after a few days. The outer material is fluffy, like a blanket. I wish I got the one that is more sofa like than a chair, but I didn't have the space for that one. But I feel like I would like to put my feet up when sitting on this chair. I personally don't like the idea of having the back just floating, as I think it will lead to tearing at the joint. This is a pretty cool lounge shaped bean bag chair. It has foam filling that is both soft but still supportive. The leg support is also attached to the main bag so it doesn't slide away which is great. It has a super soft and plush feeling outer cover.

We like the big corduroy ribs and soft cover. Taking off a star as the unit "tilts" to one side even after expansion and trying to adjust things.
