Bought this lovely little greenhouse for indoor use. It was super easy to set up, the shelving is wide with plenty of room for lots of seedlings or plants. The cover is a heavy duty plastic with good sturdy zippers on the front door. Using right now for 2 vanilla plants and they're doing great in a nice warm environment. I needed somewhere temporary to put my house plants where they would be safe and thrive. The plastic isn't cheap and thin, it's thick and works great. Pretty simple to put together and I'm excited to see how well my indoor plants do. I will be adding grow lights mostly for warmth as it is winter and it gets cold but this product, for that price was great.

This was easy to assemble - I didn't see the directions when I put the first one together - I looked at the pictures on Amazon and figured it out. I do like the size of this and I think it will be functional and fit it's purpose of starting my garden veggies and flowers indoors. There are two issues that need to be fixed 1) The center poles don't stay in the slot. The design needs to be changed to either center poles that are a bit longer (a couple mm's) or the plastic piece the poles go into needs to be made differently. 2) The shelves need to be made better - they don't fit onto the poles or even lay flat. We had to attach the shelves to the poles with some zip ties in order to make them more secure and stable. Final note: We are only going to use these greenhouses indoors. They are too light to be used outside. A slight breeze would knock them over but a strong wind would send them flying.

I got this to replace another green house I'd gotten several years ago. While the frame is still ok, I needed to replace the cover and eventually decided to just replace the whole unit; regulating it (my orig green house) to my tool shed as a shelving unit to hold small pots, etc. The HomGarden mini green house which I got to replace my orig green house, has the same frame as most mini green houses you see here on Amazon. The cover however is of a much better quality and thickness than my previous greenhouse; as well as a lot of the others I either looked at in front of our local Bartell's, complained about in the 1 star ratings here on Amazon, or per the description itself of the thickness on others. The zipper is also very well attached; a complaint with a few I looked at. The cover btw, ties onto the frame on all four corners at the bottom, so no worries about it blowing off in the wind. Some people have questioned or complained about/whether there's a problem with these little green houses blowing over in the (winter) winds. I personally have mine on the sunny side of the house where it's also protected from winds on two sides. That said, in the beginning with my first green house I did put a brick on top of the bottom of the frame to weight it down on either side, just in case. I quickly realized however, that for me it wasn't going to be an issue what with potted plants wintering over inside. The Homgrown Mini Green House was very easy to set up and when I did encounter an issue of our own making; cust service was immediate... I'd give them 5 stars just for their help and excellent service alone!!

Materials are good quality, but poorly printed diagram instructions are hard to follow. I almost returned it cause I thought it was missing parts. I didn't count the bottom floor as a shelf, which was misleading. As others has said, you will need to zip or wire tie the wire shelves in place as they will not stay in place. I had extra white "Closet Maid" shelf that fits perfectly and are more sturdy than the ones supplied and use those for the top shelves and just doubled the middle shelves with the ones supplied. I didn't bother putting one on the bottom, what's the point, it's basically on the ground. I also used landscaping "U" nails to hold the frame down, it didn't budge during the 20mph winds that we had.

Really Happy with purchase. Came nicely packaged and was very easy to put together. Great customer service as well. Zippers work well, they go up and down smoothly. Not sure how long it will last as the joints are locked together with plastic which may or may not be a good thing as it could prevent rust. On the other hand certain plastic becomes brittle over time in the sun. In the end I think that this green house is a great value for your money and love how portable it is, as I have a very small space to garden.

This thing is horrible! We got it back in April and the first windy day we got in Nevada it completely blew apart. Then the next windy day it was gone, it destroyed all of our plants. We requested a refund from the seller and they are refusing saying we need to return it. Even though the wind took it! Horrible customer service and I’m out 50 bucks plus all our hard work on our plants.
