These embroidery tie up curtains are absolutely exquisite. The workmanship of the sewing was exceptional. I was looking for short lace curtain panels to use on my dormer windows and these tie up curtains came up. They are so gorgeous. I'm using mine on a additional rod underneath my curtains in place of a blind window treatment. They are a bit sheer but they are exactly what I was looking for. I can still see out and see the sky and trees but it's a bit like looking through frosted glass. I love the pattern of the embroidery design, which looks French influenced. I'm so glad pretty, elegant curtains are back in style. These are the kind of curtains I used to use in my home before the farmhouse movement. I'm so over that. Dropcloth curtains, no thanks. It was cute, I did it, and now I'm done. I am very proud to have these in my home. If you like elegant with a modern touch of a tie up feature then I think you'll appreciate and love these.

The media could not be loaded. I am so impressed with these. I had ordered several other London shades but they blocked so much light. These have enough pattern to dapple visibility at night in my utility room but still keep it light during the day. They are so pretty and unbelievable for the price.

You don't have to hesitate to buy these! They dressed up my kitchen beautifully. I went through 4 sets of curtains before finding these and they're perfect. They're so elegant and airy yet block out just the right amount of sun. Pros -The price for these cannot be beat for the quality. The stiching is amazing! -You can bunch the up for a mor elegant, classy look or leave the down for more coverage. -They're sheer yes, but do provide some sun blockage. At night other can likely see in still but probably not uite as clear. Cons -I haven't got any yet other than they don't come in other colors, lol!

Not cheaply thin. Sheer enough while also providing privacy during the day. At night a person can see into the room from the outside if a light is on. I really like the way they look and the fact that I can see out of them and know that during the day no on can see in.

I bought this to cover a window in the backdoor of our house. I was worried it would be too sheer, but it perfectly meets my needs. I don't use it as a valance, but just leave the curtains ties hanging down. Doesn't look at all bad that way. Very pretty curtain, easy to set up and use, and provides privacy while also letting plenty of light in. Will be purchasing others sizes of the same curtain for other misc. windows in other parts of the house.
