I bought these to use as part of a stage costume, thinking they'd be a one-and-done sort of thing. But, they are actually really comfortable. I did buy some inserts as I purchased a full size larger than I needed. With the inserts they wear really well. They had a strong smell of plastic at first, but they seem to have aired out now. For a cost effective costume boot I'd say the held up really well and were surprisingly comfortable - that said they're still a low cost costume boot so don't compare them to something like a doc Marten. I'd say good for going out and light work but note that the outershell is thin so it will start to tear over time. ... show more
