    • Nice features, but why fabric drawers?
I ordered this because my current gaming shelf is old, outdated, and sits too low to the ground. It was time for a change and get something that elevates the TV and helps with my neck. Putting it together was easy, and I quite like the idea of these assemble-yourself furniture kits. All pieces were present as where the necessary tools. The wooden top is sturdy and very strong. I like the color and grain. Although the instructions say that setup can be complete within 30 minutes, I think that might be true for those who have the acumen for building things. It took me close to an hour to put it together because the directions are not all that clear, and I'm just generally bad at assembling stuff in a quick amount of time. On the shelf below the main top there is a power strip - yes! I didn't think I realized that there was a built-in power strip until I was putting it together. I love this my the XBox console and the controllers. This makes for tucking away those thick black power cords easy and lends to clean lines on the dresser. I'm using this dresser as my gaming console, as I said. That said, the dressers are nice for remote control storage, headset storage, game storage, and so on. My game guides fit nicely on the lower shelves. I have extra space with this dresser which makes it tempting to order some new games. The only thing I don't get are the fabric dressers. These do not last and tend to fall apart after awhile. For the price tag, I thought maybe some thin particle board dresser drawers would be better suited. Pulling on the drawers with heavier items will end up bending the drawers. This was the only low point for me and why I could not give this a 5-star review.     • Easy assemble, hard manufactured wood shelves, power plugs and fabric covered drawers.
The Dresser TV Stand with Charging Station by HOMEFORT, is a surprising twist on what I’ve always knew as a dresser. With its MDF wood like top, 8 fabric covered drawers for storage and a power source, this is definitely a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned about it while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It provides a decent quality dresser that doesn’t look and feel cheap, but it’s definitely on the cheaper end of the spectrum for me. I’d put the overall quality in the middle of the quality scale for dressers and guess it should hold up fine, if you’re not too rough on your things. II. Assemble – It’s fairly easy compared to most assemble at home furniture. It took me a little over an hour, but I always go slow to reduce redo’s. They also packaged it well to arrive undamaged. III. Performance – I had a lot of doubts about it having this much fabric. However, the drawers are actually a pretty sturdy cardboard or something, that keeps its structure well and is only covered in fabric. It functions just fine for lighter things like clothes. The drawer movement is a little jumpy, because of no tracks like a wood drawer would have, but you get used to it. The included power station is a nice bonus and adequate quality, but on the cheaper end. It gives you two 3-pronged outlets and two USB’s. The MDF or engineered wood functions as good as wood for this purpose, it doesn’t quite look real, but it’s very close. Overall, this is a surprisingly good way to add some functional drawers, that are sturdy enough to use, while the dresser is light enough at 40 pounds, to be easily moved around. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.     • Simple, lightweight "entertainment center"
With electronic components such as TVs becoming more lightweight and thinner, the possibilities for smaller, lighter furniture is increasing. This product is made of pressed boards that form shelves and drawers with fabric and cardboard sides. It makes for a nice lightweight piece of furniture that can be easily moved around, but it is also more than strong enough to support a smart TV, a Blu-ray player or video game console, and some pieces of media such as games or DVDs. If you do not want to use this for your living room TV setup, it goes great in any bedroom, providing a relatively small amount of storage space, but a great tabletop surface that is at a very useful height. It was quite easy to set this up, and it contained good instructions and an ample amount of hardware. The drawers themselves require very little assembly, and the other pieces fit together firmly with just hand tools. Overall this is a relatively inexpensive, lightweight item that goes great in a dorm room or first apartment, it's great for a child's bedroom, and it is also durable enough to be used as your living room entertainment center. It's a good price point, and it has already exceeded my expectations for items in that pricing category. ... show more

Dresser showed up as described and easy to put together. I got it to help organize my son's room and the drawers look small but it holds quiet a bit. The outlet is a nice touch and we are happy with the quality.
