I got the 59" x 59" awning for a back exterior door. I had never installed an awning before and had no idea what to expect. I was very pleased that the instructions were clear and installation was very easy. All parts (which wasn't many) come in clear plastic that are labelled with letters. This was also nice because you don't have to peel stickers off the actual parts. Some things to keep in mind for installation you will need would be a ladder, measuring tape, hammer (if using wall anchors) and an electric screwdriver/drill. I was able to do the installation by myself, although having an extra pair of hands would have been handy. Once installed, the awning is easily opened and closed with a hand crank. The quality is very good. Since installation, I have had 1 rain while the awning was open and there was no pooling of the water on the shade. I think the price is comparable and reasonable for the good quality awning you receive. Overall, I am very pleased and would highly recommend it if you are in the market for an awning(s).

You'll need two people to install this. Not so much for the physical part, which helps too. But, you'll need help figuring out the instructions. It took a while, but we got it up and it looks good. I just hope it holds up to the breezes we get, because it would be bothersome to have to reel it in every time the wind got up some. The manual says ONLY install this on concrete or brick walls, but it didn't say that on the main ad. Yet, the picture in the ad shows it installed on a home with siding! I installed mine on wood siding. Now I just have to wait and see.

Need two people to hang but the instructions are nice and detailed. Some parts can be put together by one person but you will need a hand when hanging. The fabric feels really thin and had some slight fraying but feels weatherproof. Waiting to see.
