Talk about a blast from the past. I had forgotten about this show for awhile, but while watching some of my favorite toons from highschool (Duckman!), I was reminded of this great show. I looked it up, found this complete set, and ordered............ And Im so glad I did. The show was smart, and full of the kind of humor that would blend in nicely among the likes of Bobs Burgers or Rick and Morty today. Infact, it would be very possible that there wouldn't even be a Bobs Burgers if not for this show... The seasons get better and better as the show progresses and really finds each characters footing. While it wasn't a laugh out loud riot, the quiet chuckles come one after the other-- making it a very enjoyable watch. The writing is great, the voices are great. The animation is a little shaky early on, as was intended, but seemed to settle down as the show went out. The coloring and image quality was great. This show is in full frame, which drives me insane, but it's fitting considering that widescreen wasn't really a thing for home tv's back then so it was all shot in full frame. Special features on these episodes are really cool. I'm glad they included everything they did. The packaging was condensed into 6 discs in each of 2 dvd cases (for 12 total). This really cuts down on shelf space from buying these as 4 individual seasons. Why you are missing out on some cool box art, this seems like a great trade. The cases hold the discs nicely, and really- thats all I needed them to do. I loved this show so many years ago, and found that as an adult--- I love it even more now.     • Great and fun extras
Had to use an old USB DVD drive to get it working since none of my PCs have a disc drive anymore. But it was worth it. Got the deinterlacing and post processing settings so the lines are nice and crisp. Love the commentator audio tracks. Much better than the crappy youtube rips which was previously the only way to rewatch these (those got removed anyway). ... show more

    • One of the best cartoons of all time
Bought this for my dad for Christmas last year because he loves Home Movies, and I think it may have been his favorite present that year. Not that that makes a difference on the quality of the product, but just wanted to share that. Though it's good to see it all in one set. My only complaint about it is it doesn't have closed captions, which honestly is kind of awful because of the characteristically defining mumbling cadence they use. But I'm really happy to have found it as a whole, and my dad is stoked as well! ... show more

Home Movies is one of the greatest cartoons the world has ever known... It's nice to be able to own the complete series at last. The commentary tracks and other bonus features (including animatics) are pretty entertaining. Unlike the original season 4 set, this version doesn't include the soundtrack though. ... show more

If you are a fan of the show this is a total must-have...just buy the thing! The show is barely on TV anymore and this is pretty much the only way to watch it so just own it already, just in case it goes out of print in the near future!

    • Hilarious, good memories.
I use to watch this show back in the day in my early teens, when it was on UPN, before Adult Swim was a thing. Brought back such good memories. Plus the show is cute and funny. Coach mcgerkin was the funniest character! 😂 Glad I purchased the entire season.

    • Classic, silly, old "Home Movies" cartoons from Adult Swim.
The videos are still funny but the picture quality is not up to HD standards. You will notice a difference if viewed on an HD TV. We still. enjoyed them as a nostalgic viewing.
