I've used this cart for about a 2 weeks and so far everything is holding up nicely. When assembling the tools that come with the cart do work and it only took me about 30 minutes too to put it together. I've loaded it with 5 large soil bags 1 cu.ft bags and also a couple 25 lb chicken and goat feed bags. We live on a small piece of property so heading out to the animals is a bit bumpy of a path and the cart has held up nicely as well as pulls smoothly with ease. At first I thought the frame might not be sturdy but once completely assembled it's nice. So far very happy with this product.

The wagon is solid, and heavy enough for regular yard work. Black paint is glossy, but not powder coated. It does scratch off with metal tools, so we shall see if it rusts quickly. First thing I noticed is that the instructions say with pictures to put the bolts through in a direction that won't allow the front axle to rotate, without binding. Make sure to put them in upside down from what the picture shows. Second is that the hardware kit includes washer and nuts for all 4 tires. The rear axle uses Nuts, the front axle is not threaded, it requires a cotter pin, which isn't included. Even the instructions show a front axle with the pin holes only and tells you to screw on the nuts. Bit of quality control issue there. They sell those pins at most any hardware store, just pick up 2. In case you were planning on using the cart the same day it arrives. The tires are tube tires, which should be fine for most yard work with plants, and wood. Solid tires are preferred to carry heavier weights (for example moving piles of pavers/bricks or stones around).

Not sure about the max weight limit but I did put five, 60-pound bags of cement in it. It was much easier to pull across the driveway than the yard. It wasn't that bad, but the wheels did sink a bit in the grass. It does seem to be a good, sturdy wagon. Easy to clean with a hose. Assembly was easy, it does include all the fasteners and tools needed. Just pay attention to the pictures and find a real wrench. A good garden cart.

Good quality materials. Putting together was time consuming but it is mail older so /shrug. It works great and expect it will for years. I would recommend to a friend.

As a cart this is pretty solid and a nice price for a versatile cart. The kit is pretty easy to put together with the right tools, and while there are some loose tolerances in attaching the sides with cotter pins the use of nylon locnuts means I'm not worried about critical parts working their way loose or falling off. The pneumatic tires are large enough that roots or even 2x4 barriers are easy enough to roll over. The only downsides to this are 1) some of the instructions and 2) the painful-to-use sheet metal wrenches provided in the package. The instructions - specifically the orientation of the bolts on the moving axel/handle connection are poorly illustrated. Do yourself a favor and make sure the head of the large bolt is on the cart / top side and the nut on the wheel/axle side and you can avoid some interference when turning the cart. In terms of tools, for the amount of torque needed to tighten up the lock nuts, the sheet metal wrenches they provided are outright painful to use, if not dangerous. Do yourself a favor and grab an adjustable wrench with a set or pliers, or better yet a metric socket set (I want to say 12mm, 13mm, and 18mm sockets) and you'll be able to make short work of the assembly process.

We needed this garden cart for exactly that, in the garden. Previously we were using a gator cart, which is very capable, but the one we had did not have holes in it and it is a huge pain having to dump it out all the time. This is so much nicer to use when doing harvests so the soil and water can go right through. We often hose off what we pull out of the garden right in the wagon, or we will fill up pots of water when we go harvest flowers for sale to keep them fresh. The wagon is heavy so it's not the best if you have to lift it all the time, but for our use in doing harvests, it's great. The sides can come off which is handy, though we prefer to keep the sides up. Wheels are spaced far enough apart to provide good support, unlike some garden carts I've seen with closer wheels to enable folding up the cart. This cart doesn't fold up. Tires are good pneumatic quality, though I'd prefer solid tires for the heavier weights I'll put in the cart. Quality is very good.

The Homdox Garden Cart is a heavy duty, well-made cart. It was easy to assemble with the provided instruction sheet. We really like that this is versatile, and the sides can be removed.
