I searched for hours trying to find the perfect pantry to put in my laundry room because I needed extra storage space in my kitchen. So many products have mixed reviews it makes buying anything online stressful! I went with this pantry because it was the exact size I needed and I love the look of it. It's perfect! I don't understand the bad reviews! First, it comes in two boxes and is very well packaged. I had one small scratch on one of the pieces but it's not a piece that is seen once put together so it wasn't a big deal to me. Second, I am a 34 year old female and I put this thing together by myself! It took me about 3 hours with breaks in between. I saw some people having trouble putting on the doors but I didn't have any trouble at all. Just follow the instructions. One piece of advice I can give is to take the screws you use to put the door on and screw it into the door a little before you actually try to put the door on the pantry. This makes putting screws in once it's in place a lot easier. The instructions are just pictures but they are super easy to follow. I laid all my pieces out in my living room floor before beginning so it was easy to see all the parts. I suggest putting the cabinet together where you intend to put it because it is heavy to move once assembled. I am VERY happy with this pantry and highly suggest it! It's a super nice piece of furniture and it holds a lot! I cleaned out several cabinets from my kitchen and still have plenty of room for more. Just buy it! You'll be glad you did! ... show more

We ordered this simply for storage. It came in two fairly good sized boxes. Packaged well. One box had some damage to it but none of the parts were damaged. Everything was in good shape and I wasn’t missing any of the hardware which is a miracle in my book. It was pretty easy to put together. I gave it 5 stars. The instructions are pretty much just picture instructions but I didn’t have any problems. Just make sure you pull out all the pieces, lay out your hardware and you should be good. I did need another person to help with the assembly because the unit is two pieces, top cabinet and bottom cabinet. You’ll need someone to help lift the top up. And this thing was a lot more sturdy than I anticipated. I was very happy with that. Things I’d change. Really not much. The hinges could be a little nicer. Their just basic hinges. Not the soft closing kind. I think it’s a pretty cabinet. Size is what they say it is. Storage is good. I’ve been able to fit a lot in it.... at least for what we need. We have three grown adults in our home so we don’t need storage for maybe what a family of 5 needs. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and I recommend getting it, as long as your ok with putting it together. ... show more

These engineered wood products can be fragile and a little creaky once put together. This arrived very well and securely packaged in two (heavy: 50-60 pounds each) boxes. There was one small crack in one of the pieces, but I think it will not matter now that the cabinet is assembled; nor does it show. Instructions are fairly clear if you are familiar with Ikea style picture instructions. All of the many pieces were there. I like the appearance and pieces are pretty well aligned. Not perfect, but acceptable in the pantry. It feels pretty sturdy. Only assembly issue is that the holes for the magnetic holders are not aligned quite right. I used wood filler on one of the holes and redrilled it. I assembled the bottom by myself, but it really helped to have another person when I did the top part of the cabinet. Be careful when installing the connector pieces across the front. It's easy to secure them backwards. Double check the drawings and your installation of all the pegs and fasteners. Also, easy to miss the "T" screws that go into place before the magnetic holders. My "improvement" is that I added some plywood to the bottom and added 2" casters so I can move it for cleaning or re-arranging the room. Love the look. Sturdy and great storage space. Strong enough to hold my kitchen aid mixer. Don't like the handles not being the same color. Long doors have uneven spaces. Tried to adjust but not able to . Customer service was great. They responded in a day and kept the conversation going. Offered a substantial refund because of uneven doors. I can live with that. This cabinet really looks nice for the price. Be prepared..It took two of us almost 3 hours to assemble it, and we are pretty handy! My only gripe would be that the back panels are rather thin and the doors are quite light, so when you go to shut them - they almost sound hollow bc they are so thin. Looked like the perfect size, shape, color, capacity. Wow!, and at a great price. Assembly was complex but fun. I like doing this stuff. Chinese directions don't frustrate me. However, after all was said and done, came the question - WHAT IS THAT AWFUL SMELL? We hoped it would gas out and things would be fine. We tried air fresheners, baking soda, drier sheets, scented candles (unlit, of course). Nothing worked. It has been a year now and it still STINKS!!! It has got to go.
