This is wayyyy sturdier than I thought it would be for the price! It's definitely lightweight, I wouldn't jump and down on it or anything, but it doesn't feel like it's going to collapse under my (admittedly heavy!) weight. I even stood on one of the stools to hang some curtains. It's also resisted any scratches from my cats jumping on it. The table looks really nice and fits perfectly in my teeny tiny apartment dining nook. Assembly was extremely easy and intuitive - it took me maybe 30-45 minutes to put it all together by myself. Obviously, this set is small. This would not be a great table for four adults to eat at on a daily basis unless you're really into rubbing elbows. But it's perfect for me and it works well when I want to have a couple friends over for dinner, drinks, or a card game. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase! ... show more

My husband and I live in a studio apartment so space is limited so when I saw this table and chair set I thought it was perfect! Putting it together wasn’t bad however, we notice that the pole legs for the chairs were to small for the screws that they provided...so I contacted someone about it and it went well but we’re still waiting for the new items and we can’t even use two of the four chairs. Im giving it 4 stars just because I’ve been waiting for the replacements for awhile now and its a little annoying. Other than that I love the look of it in my place and the color. Bought this as a dining room table for an apartment, I loved the chairs not taking up extra room. The table wasn’t terrible to assemble but definitely wasn’t quick. We had to put a rug under the table because it was uneven and wobbled which isn’t ideal for a dining table. A year later the chairs are falling apart but the table is holding up ... show more

Overall I really like this table, it's small enough for the space I have, but also provided enough table space to eat comfortably with 4 people. My only issue with the table is it came slightly damaged on the table top and the screws looked like they sat outside in the rain and caused my fingers to turn orange from the rust.
