This comforter is super lightweight and cool. The first night, I was worried that it wouldn't keep me warm enough because when I got in bed, the comforter was actually cold to the touch. But it warmed up quickly and kept me at the perfect temperature all night long. I'm sleeping better because I'm not having those horrible hot flashes at night as badly as I was. I still get them but they're very short lived and not as intense. The comforter has a silky feel which I had to get used to, but that only took a couple of days. I love snuggling under this comforter knowing I won't wake up in a pool of sweat! My hubby also says he's sleeping better. One piece of advice, get the next size up from the size of bed you have, especially if you or your partner is a blanket hog, lol. We have a queen bed and I got the king comforter and it's got the perfect coverage for two people who like to burrow under the covers. If you get the size corresponding to the size bed you have, it may be a bit small.

While I had a rocky start with this comforter (I was originally sent a used returned comforter as it had stains all over it and was in the wrong package!!) after receiving my replacement, I can honestly say this is the best comforter I've ever had in helping me with my night sweats. I was first surprised at the thinness out of the package but it did puff up slightly after a few days. I have been used to semi-plush comforters but I've always had night sweats so I told myself even though it was thin I would give it a try. After laying under it the heaviness and softness (soooo soft) is just right and feels just as conforming as the more plush comforters I was used to. I had already switched to bamboo sheets and a bamboo mattress cover which had significantly helped my night sweats (was waking up in small puddles of sweat vs large half the bed sweats...yes I'm really that bad lol). I knew I needed to switch up my comforter again so I searched for bamboo comforters and I'm so glad I gave this one a try! I've been using it for a couple weeks and have only woken up in the morning with very light sweating at the most! Id say 80% of the time I wake up sweat free, no more sweat saturated sheets! Its been a couple years of trial and error with different fabrics, brands, etc and the best way to go for night sweats is ALL bamboo (sheets, comforter, pillowcases, and mattress cover). And not only does this help with sweating, it's extremely soft to touch and I can't bring myself to put the bamboo duvet cover I bought on it because of this. I wake up every morning happy and feeling like I'm in a cloud after buying this comforter. If you're on the fence and reading this review, just buy it! It's definitely been a life changer!

This comforter - omg. It’s as light as a feather, and breathable. The cover is soooo soft. It feels cool (to the touch), but not cold, yet it kept me comfortablely warm in the AC. I have not slept like I did last night in a long tine. I can’t believe something is actually like the reviews said, lol. When I woke up, I wasn’t all tangled up in the cover from tossing and turning from being hot, then cold, then hot, etc. I suffer with fibromyalgia, and sometimes I can't stand having things like jewelry, clothing, or blankets touching me, so when I said it's as light as a feather, you can believe me. I haven't washed it yet, but I intend to follow the manufacturer guidelines explicitly. I don't want anything to change how it feels to sleep under. I also can't believe the price, which is under $100 for a king (even for an XL King!). I am a hot sleeper, but I still like feeling all cozy and cuddled up in bed, and now I can with this comforter. I highly recommend giving it a go if you're thinking you might like it.

I was very hesitant buying this just based off reviews I had read. However, they have yet to disappoint. I like to sleep with a fan on all year round. Even so, I still find myself sweaty and uncomfortable. I’m not sure if it’s the mattress but was looking for a soft comforter that would keep me cool at night. It is very thin but it’s cool to touch and very silky soft. I had the best sleep with this comforter last night. I felt cool and comfortable all night and didn’t find myself tossing and turning all night. Slept like a baby! I would give it 5 starts except it did come horribly wrinkled. Other recommendation is spending 100 for something so thin, boxing should be more representable. It came in a brown card board box with the comforter inside a vacuumed sealed bag. I kinda felt I had bought a used product or cheap knockoff at first. But the product itself is definitely brand new upon thorough inspection. Other than that it’s a great product.

I purchased this from Amazon based on the reviews that it's for hot sleepers. At the same time I purchased this, I also purchased a duvet cover (from a different manufacturer). This arrived first, so I slept with it for several days without it being encased in a cover. It was pure bliss! So soft, silky and cooling, but kept me warm enough that I didn't have to add additional blankets for early morning when it starts to get really cold in my bedroom. I was so pleased! When the duvet cover arrived, I put it inside and slept with it for a few weeks. Really awful interrupted sleep due to waking up way too warm. I persisted, thinking I would get used to it. Finally out of desperation, I pulled it back out of the cover and slept with it all by itself, no top sheet, no blanket, just this wonderful soft and cozy duvet. Hooray, finally another night of restful sleep with no waking up! I'm thrilled! Praying it holds up for a long time because now I don't want to ever be without it!

Okay, so a little backstory- I've recently (within the past few years) had a huge problem with allergies and sensitive skin. Having never had these issues before in my life (I'm 28), and having Autism and anxiety (this is relevant because both contribute hugely to the sensitivity of my skin- the more stressed I am, the more sensitive my skin, and the more sensitive my skin, the more likely I am to experience sensory overload from the texture of a slew of fabrics). I've had a miserable time trying to find fabrics that don't irritate my skin, and when I heard about bamboo, it was pretty much a last ditch effort. And I am SO glad I went for it. The texture is silky, like...slippery versus soft/cotton? I'm trash at descriptions but hopefully you know what I mean. Despite this it's not loud in the least (another issue with Autism can be sensitivity to certain noises). It's the perfect weight, which has been an issue since I need a cooling blanket but one with some weight due to my conditions. Pair this comforter with bamboo sheets and you'll feel completely cocooned without the downside of heat. I'm not using a duvet since those annoy the heck out of me since they always slide around, plus the fabric is extremely comfortable for me, but I imagine a bamboo duvet would work perfectly as well! Now that I've written a novel- I rarely leave reviews unless it's to gush over an item that's just that good, so I tend to go into extreme detail- TLDR, if you have sensitive skin or allergies, or just sleep hot, GET THIS. The product description isn't an exaggeration.
