Easy to put together, directions were clear, lightweight, sturdy, perfect for what I needed. Took off one star just because it looks less like real wood and more like it's a peel and stick wood picture put on it. But for the price I'm happy with it.

Very good quality shelf. It was easy to put together and attractive. The engineered wood actually looks like wood and the metal supports aren't flimsy, but quite strong instead. I would recommend.

    • Sturdy and on trend
First, the laminate on the shelves is a bit darker (more gray & dark gray) than it seemed in the photos - but that was really not a concern for me. It still matched my other furniture in style. Now remember - that's based on my computer's representation of the color. I was really impressed with how they grouped the hardware in little sealed pockets so all piece Bs for example were all in one pocket tagged "B", all in one big strip of pockets for all the hardware. I can't describe it well and I don't have the bags anymore. But it was very helpful. (I've had funriture where all the hardware was mixed up in one bag. Nightmare!) I thought the instructions were easy to follow and common sense will help :). Took about an hour to assemble - one person. It is sturdy and doesn't wobble, but that also has a lot to do with how well you put it together, I think. And the softer industrial look is great. The shelves are sturdy as well. I am not sure it will hold 110 lbs, but it definitely held over 20 lbs in books and a 20 lbs cat without so much as a squeak. I am not 100% on the look of the shelves though - the laminate looks kind of cheap, but once loaded with books and stuff, you don't really notice it as much. It is a good value for the money.
