I watched the video before ordering this cover for my chair. The cover arrived and I thought I needed my husband's assistance to cover the chair, but got impatient waiting, so I started to do it myself. The chair is much different than the video shown for a couch. I started by putting the front where the arms are on first, then proceeded to pull towards the back to finish. It took me 6 minutes and the chair was covered and ready to sit on. The material is very stretchable and could have gone over the feet of the chair, but I chose to stop right above the legs. The elastic is very strong and durable and the material is the right color and weight. I could not be happier that I saved $500.00 from buying a new chair because it had a small hole in the seat cushion. Now I have a great colored cover which goes with the rest of my furniture. I have 2 oversized chairs from Ashley's that were this atrocious green color but I got a great deal for them so I couldn't complain! I found these chair covers on Amazon and decided to give them a try. (the picture I posted isn't my personal chair but I have the same one) Two things- The chair cushion cover that comes with your purchase does not fit over my chair cushion because it's not a square, it has the little arms the come out so that was a dud However, the cover IS stretchy enough to go over the entire chair, cushion included. With that being said, it is A PAIN IN MY REAR! There is a tag that says "back" but that doesn't necessarily mean that if you put that part in the back that it will go on with no issues. It took two of us and every bit of patience we had to get both of the covers on. Now that they're on, it looks great! I wish I had a picture of the before and after. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for comfortable chair covers. I also bought the ottoman cover, that went on with no issues! ... show more

At this price point my expectations weren't really too high, but I was hoping for something where all the seams were sewn properly. This one had two good sized spots where the one side of the fabric was not caught in the stitches at all. Luckily I have a serger because the fabric is so stretchy that trying to repair it on a regular machine without stretch stitches would have just popped, especially since one spot was up on the back of the chair where there is potential strain. I don't like that the seat cushion is just elastic and not a full zippered cover, but I suspect that is another corner cut to keep the price down. It does pop off as it is a tight fit despite my chair being well within the size given for the small cover. It seems to be pilling quickly. On the plus side, the cover does fit the chair I bought it for well, and the recipient is happy with the color. ... show more

I'm totally bummed that I'll have to return this cover. The sizing works great for our oversized armchairs (with plenty of stretch left to spare), but the coloring is off. This is the second color I ordered bc the color of the first covers (brick) I bought were also off and didn't match the online picture. This time I ordered "camel" and unfortunately, the color is a tan with a pink tone (as opposed to a tan with a more yellow/brown tone). I know computer monitors can be calibrated slightly differently, but I've checked out the picture on different interfaces and feel strongly that the color shown in the description is not what is represented by the product. Delivery was quick, product was packaged very nicely, and if it weren't the color discrepency, I think I would have enjoyed the cover. ... show more

    • Not a perfect fit but a HUGE improvement

I'm gonna share a lot of information here in hopes that it will be as helpful to others as previous reviews were to me. I purchased the "chair" size in "gray." Thankfully, another reviewer pointed out that the gray is more blue than gray so I wasn't surprised. I like the color. This is an over-sized chair with extra thick cushions and kind of an odd design so I wasn't surprised that the cover didn't fit exactly right. I think for the average chair, it will work. The dimensions of this chair SOUND normal but they're not. [40 inches wide, 30 inches tall, 37 inches deep.] [The seat cushion is 31" wide, 251/2" deep, 61/2" thick]. The seat cushion cover barely fit on the seat cushion but I got it on there, even though the seams didn't line up. Unfortunately, there was not enough extra fabric in the slip cover to put the seat cushion over it. [i.e., There's just enough fabric to tuck in over the seat cushion but not under it.] I ended up using the seat cover cushion to cover a storage box I keep near the chair. It comes untucked rather easily but that wouldn't be a problem if you're able to get the seat cushion cover to work. Also, that would make it look less like a slipcover. I also ended up with a lot of fabric left hanging over the back. Fortunately, that is hidden. All that said [and I hope the pictures will post] I LOVE what an improvement this is over the fabric that has been passed down through three generations but does not clean well. It's SUPER soft. I thought the texture would bother me but it does not. It actually looks more textured than it feels. Bonus: for some reason, my cat has no interest in scratching this particular fabric...like she does everything else. Bottom line: for the price, this was a great buy! I'm on a very tight budget but this made me feel a little less poor. [Shoot. I don't see the add photos option. Seriously, though, great improvement.] ... show more
