Drone arrived on time and is surprisingly really good. There was a problem with the battery that customer service immediately addressed by shipping a new battery that works just fine and lasts as long as advertised. I also bought an additional battery. This was my first drone and it hooked me right into the hobby. Easy and fun to fly as long as you start up each time in the correct sequence, meaning you should first power on the drone, then power on the controller and let them self sync (takes like 45 seconds or so), and only then should you plug in your phone. I bought a bunch of extra propellers that I haven't had the need to use as I haven't ever crashed it. The gimbal is a bit hard to adjust until you get used to it, you must learn to just nudge the controller quickly to get the correct angle. The camera takes very good videos and stills. I've since bought more expensive drones but I still use this one for daring missions that I don't put the more expensive ones into. I am very pleased with my purchase of the HS360E and it is an amazing drone for a beginner and hobbist. It takes great quality photos and Videos. I was nervous to take it to max altitude of 395 ft but it was rock solid and had no connectivity issues. It is very stable in flight and can handle a slight breeze like it isn't even there. I look forward to learning with this drone as it will be a great confidence builder for a beginning pilot and I hope it lasts as it will probably be my go to drone even when I decide to go to one with headless mode and 360° obstacle avoidance. A couple months ago I purchased one of these drones. I've had drones before so when I first opened this one I was kind of impressed with the quality of the build itself. I charged the drone and got it all ready to fly. I did everything that you're supposed to do as far as calibrating the gps and I took to the skies. It seemed to fly okay for a little bit.I got kind of far away but within my line of sight so I can see it. I was flying over a buddy of mine's house. Total flight time was about ten minutes and it decided to return home because the battery was low, (even though it advertised thirty plus minutes of flight time). In the return home mode the drone drop to an altitude below my line of sight and I never saw it again. It never returned home, and I went to the area where it said that it had landed and it was nowhere to be seen. I. Contacted holy Stone and explained what had happened and the representative was really nice. She told me that they could replace the device. All I needed do was follow a link that she emailed to me and send the flight logs from this drone and they would send me a new one. I sent the flight logs and that was three months ago. I attempted twice to follow up and was put on hold forever. I never received a replacement drone. I only flew it once. And never saw it again. I feel like i've been ripped off by Holy Stone. A friend of mine gave me a drone by Uranhub. It's almost identical to the holy Stone that I lost and I love it. I've been flying it for the last 2 months and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I will never buy another Holy Stone product. It would only let me put a one star rating, but in reality I give it a minus two. ... show more

First 360s was a failure it spun in circles until it would eventually crash! The” toilet bowl spin of death”! Returned it and got the upgraded 360e. Which at first flew nice . Was very stable solid in the air! My third flight lost screen camera locator. Had no idea where my drone was Hit return to home that worked flawlessly. Rebooted camera/drone checked out all features made sure battery was fully charged and controller as well. Waited for a warmer day. And went out for my forth or 5th flight. Let me just say I’ve been flying drones for years so I can adapt easily to issues. Again lost my controller picture! BUT this time over water. I was in visible contact with drone for this flight… just to make sure! So I was not that far in distance away all was calibrated correctly. The Drone had a mind of its own! Flew straight to open water! And kept going never to be seen again . It was in visible range during the flight until she flew away no obstructions on my beach on the Chesapeake bay either! Drone is gone! I have been using holy stone drones for years. But time to find a more reliable drone! Sorry Holy Stone you are losing a long time customer and advocate for your mid priced drones. Update: Holy stone/Replaced the Drone I will try again !Never give up !conquer ! One other observations: manual, online videos etc. all say there are several features to the camera/flight like slingshot,spiral,ascension etc. that the Drone is supposed to have…. Not on my app! Works ok for grainy pictures and shaky videos. It flys really good, fun to fly, Go Home feature works fine. Wish I would have forked out the extra money for a DJI. This thing is meh... The truth hurts.

This drone is under 250 grams and doesn't require registration. It is also very compact and comes with a nice carry case that holds the two included batteries and the controller. I am very pleased with this product and can highly recommend it. So far, it has been easy to learn to use it after the initial learning curve for the initial connection with the controller and drone. I had issues getting it to connect but eventually downloaded the manual online and the directions were slightly better than what came with the unit. It basically goes like this: turn on drone, turn on controller, wait up to 40 seconds, then plug in phone with app launched. At least that is the sequence that finally worked for me. Prior to that i had the phone plugged in and the app up prior to trying to turning on the controller and trying to connect to the drone and it wouldn't connect. Anyways, I quickly got used to flying the drone and have tested out the smart return and camera features with success; just note that smart return has the drone shoot straight up in the air (above tree line) before heading back. This means don't press that button until your verticals are completely clear. I really like the 10th anniversary gradient color edition that I ordered and have been having a good time with the drone. Please note that, if you are in the states, you need don't need to register this drone but you do need to take the TRUST test and get your certificate. Keep this on you (digitally on your phone) so that you can present it if the someone asks for proof. I even carry a precision pocket scale with me as this is a quick way to show that the drone is under 250 grams. this drone is very easy too fly, has good options.i like the camera filters cartoon black and white and a sketch that is pretty accurate.states 20 minutes flight time. wind effects that pretty good but it is amazingly good in a light breeze. nice camera

I have several drones now and this is one of my favorites. It has level 5 wind resistance(23mph), so it's pretty stable and it has about 30 minutes of flight time. The distance is really good and it keeps the signal well. It includes all the cables you need, for charging and also for connecting you phone, either iphone or android. It has several quick shots including spiral, catapult, one key ascention, panarama, slow motion, time lapse and gesture cxontrol. It also has tap to fly, circle fly, gps follow me and even visual tracking. It will automatically return to home if it loses connection or the battery gets low.
