    • This hood does work pretty good, but be aware you have to supply air to it or it will fog up
This hood works pretty good. You need supply air for the hood, I hooked up a second regulator off the compressor, and set it at about 35 psi. Worked great when I was blasting a car body. Now be aware that if you were using the same compressor for that air supply, it’s going to cut down your rate so you probably will have to stop every once in a while and let it build up. I’m running a 60 gallon and I have to stop every once in a while. But my compressor pump is older and I could probably use a better one. The hood is a little on the tighter side, but I guess that also keeps it clean on the inside, wear earplugs also. ... show more

My husband is using this while installing insulation int our warehouse. It is working out fine however he said it is a little heavy to wear for any extended length of time. Other than that the quality of the Hood/Cap is good.

If you're using this for media blasting I'd look into another option. Used it once and media gets around the glass and into the hood. Not ideal.
