EOTech 552 knock-off. Solid piece of gear, I have three of them - highly recommend. These are almost identical to the genuine EOTech 552s, but the dimensions are just slightly different enough that the GGG flip up scope covers DO NOT FIT! These will mount anywhere a 552 will mount EXCEPT on M4 fatty oversize handguards. Controls are similar but not exactly the same. Canter button is marked "NV", but all it does is change the reticle from red to green and then back again. Genuine EOTech 552s are somewhere North of $600.00 US. This knockoff is $40.00 US. At this price point you can't beat it with a 9-iron. You can get FOURTEEN of these before you hit the $600.00 neighborhood. These are GREAT for Airsoft, pretty good for range toys, but not what I would choose to take with me into harm's way. Recommend. ... show more

    • Good for an airsoft replica.
This is a good airsoft or prop 552 replica. It has solid construction for what it is. The reticle is the crosshaired doughnut with a dot. There are no audible or tactile clicks for adjustment so when you adjust you have zero idea how it's moving. The sight window coating is rather dark. Looking through it I'd like wearing sun glasses in doors. This may be a challenge for dark environments. The brightness of the reticle is not good for bright days. On the highest setting red is barely visible mid day and green is not visible at all. It is therefor not appropriate to mount on a real long arm. If you want a replica Eotech 552 on your airsoft gun, this is great. If you want to fake flex, think again. ... show more

All but impossible to put batteries into sight. Unless you want something for a prop weapon for cosplay, don't waste your time and money. Get something better and save yourself the headache.

This is a very good quality site for the price range. Don't expect this to go on your big weapons, as it is for airsoft use. The reticle is easy to see and align with your target. It mounts on a standard picatinny rail no problem. It seemed to hold it zero well when mounted on two different airsoft rifles. It runs on AA batteries, and it did include some. If you store it make sure you remove the batteries prior to storage. ... show more

Really high quality, like surprisingly high quality, I expected it to probably be plastic but it was full metal... This thing is awesome, has red and green projection, is a really decent price, the batteries are AA so that's pretty good, they last a while. I think you'll need to probably sight in your optic, But if you're putting it on an airsoft gun like you should be (It isn't for real guns) then that shouldn't be too difficult. It is really bright and you can adjust it. I've seen some people say that it turns off when shooting 556... That's because it's not actually an EOTech, It's meant for airsoft don't use it on a real gun it won't work properly. ... show more

These are for airsoft guns. I'm sure you could put them on real firearms if you wanted, I just wouldn't expect them to last for very long. I bought 2. One for my son's airsoft gun and one for mine. Since it is not easy to aim an airsoft gun with a full face mask on, these are good enough for the money. I like that they take regular batteries, that's convenient. These are not magnified, they look to be built well enough. They're easy to install and the buttons for them are easy to access. As far as accuracy goes, I realize I don't use it that much and neither does my son to be able to make that determination. These are more like props for us. ... show more

Eh its ok for the price but It has the butt ugly logo on the side nothing in any description showed a logo so im rather disappointed by that
