The airflow is strong and covers the space well, and I love that it has three speed settings to choose from and it’s durable. This gets the job done. I picked it bc it was cheap. It was easy to put together and since using it for 3 months, have 0 problems. I'd say go for it if you want a fan of this size.

    • Pretty good fan.
I wish it were quieter. I'm very sensitive to sound when I am sleeping or working at the computer and I don't think I could sleep with this in my room, even on the lowest setting. On the other hand, it is quiet enough that I can work with it right next to me and the sound doesn't bother me, and I occasionally forget that it is there and running. Moves a lot of air even on the low setting. Seems stable on its base, doesn't drift. Sometimes it starts vibrating, but this can be fixed by adjusting the tilt. I do wish that they would redesign the control knob--it is completely smooth and not set back very far from the fan cage, therefore hard to grip and turn if you have arthritis, or if you have sweat or lotion on your hands. Overall, it's not perfect, but it is a good fan for the price. I ended up buying more than one. ... show more

The fan works great! It supplies the oscillating breeze I needed while watching TV during a local heatwave. It was very easy to assemble for this 76 year old with arthritis in my hands.

What a GREAT product this is! I researched fans for a week before deciding on this one. GREAT choice! Sturdy! EASY TO PUT TOGETHER! HOLMES, thank you for a GREAT product. I put it together in the estimated time of 10 minutes... just the time the company said it would take. Reasonable price. Goes together so easily! Quiet. 3 speeds. The fan tilts too!     • Biggest heat wave in California 2024 and it's missing parts. No bueno! Big problem!
I order this couple of days ago for my elderly parents. They are in their 80's and 90's. The oscillating can they had in their bedroom died at the beginning of this heat wave. It's 105° today but it was 113° couple of days ago. My parents do not have AC. Their bedroom is like an oven. And I wanted to get them a replacement fan and help cool them off. So I was excited about surprising them with this fan for their bedtime. But, while putting it together, I noticed it was missing the back mounting piece to keep the blade from coming off or moving. I could use the piece that mints the base to the post but then it wouldn't be able to stand. So I tried calling Holmes and off course being east coast, they are closed. They close at 5 EST. Which is 2pm PST. Amazon was going to give me their number but it's the same number I called. Guess I'm going to have to try tomorrow or can Amazon back and hopefully get the part or my money back. Very disappointed that it is missing this one part. Elderly people just want a simple working fan that you plug in and turn on. But with quality. They don't understand rechargeable or have USB plugs or cords. When putting it together, I'll be honest. The blades are very flimsy and feels very cheaply made. Not something I'm used to from Holmes. Since it's going to start cooling in a couple of days, which will be after I get a new one or the replacement part, I just might return it and just buy one from Home Depot or Wal-Mart tomorrow, in person. ... show more
