    • A Decent Starter Set of Power Brushes

The first question I had when browsing this brush collection was: does the bit fit a standard hexagonal chock? Yes. You can’t quite see it in the product photos, so I took a leap of faith. I don’t actually own a cordless drill, but I do own a cordless impact driver, and need something that fits the bit mount firmly. Because the bit end is standardized, it will probably work with whatever standard cordless drill or driver you already have. As an unmarried man living alone, I acknowledge that my housekeeping is pretty bad. Cleaning takes an effort of willpower, something I don’t always have. Especially because it can be very slow-moving and I have other things to do, I often postpone it until stains have become too big a problem to cleanly handle. That is, until I discovered these brushes, which use the cordless driver I already have to make the process move quickly. Combine these brushes with a little all-purpose cleaner, and I find, most dirt and stains melt away. I had old grease stains on my stove, and a kitchen sink that had backed up and was covered in nasty food waste. I photographed both of them partway through cleaning, and have enclosed the pictures, to show you how well even seriously impacted stains washed away with these power brushes and a little Formula 409. This set includes three brushes: a wide flat brush for large areas, a narrow flat brush for corners and crevices, and a bottle brush for trains and narrow spaces. It also includes a six-inch bit extender, which you’ll probably use mostly with the bottle brush. Be aware that six inches isn’t very long, and if you use this set to clean your bathroom, you’ll still have to stick your hand—or worse, your driver—into the toilet. But it still washes hardened stains away. Now sadly, as much as I love this set, I have to take one star away for sturdiness reasons. After just a couple of hours, the chock inside the wide flat brush became disconnected from the brush itself. Though it’s still there, it spins freely. I assume this is a fluke manufacturer’s defect, because the other two brushes still work perfectly, and I’m still using them. However, be aware that the manufacturer expects the brushes to wear out, and therefore doesn’t make them breakage-proof. Notwithstanding that fault, my experience with these brushes is still broadly positive. My kitchen and bathroom, which formerly looked like an unmarried man lived there alone, are now clean enough to have company over. These three brushes are a starter set, and I like them enough that I’ve gone ahead and ordered the full set, with different kinds of brushes and sponges, from the same company.     • Great Scrubbing Power!

I bought these solely for scrubbing my car floor mats which are carpet and rubber. Spray on your cleaner of choice, I use a degreaser and attach these to a powerful drill. The bristles are very rigid and scrub the dirt right out of the carpet without tearing it up, but also are sturdy enough to scrub the rubber of the mats. I have yet to use them for anything else but intend to use them in other scrubbing scenarios like the shower pan. Longevity is yet to be seen, but based on the interaction so far, I am confident they will hold up for some time. I recommend these to fellow car detailers, DIY car detailers or anyone looking for a rigid scrubbing brush. I will certainly also recommend it to family or friends if asked. ... show more

My tub's surface is old and etched all over, making it impossible to get it fully clean looking. I tried different cleaners, mild abrasives, magic erasers, etc. I admit, I gave up trying because no matter how long I scrubbed, it still looked bad. I bought the yellow set of brushes. They seem sturdy. Clearly some of the black bristles on the domed brush were breaking after a while, but there's no obvious damage or loss of function. The extended attachment made the work much easier! Besides the extra reach, it also allowed quick changes of brushes for different surfaces. I even used it with screwdriver bits for another project. After exhausting two drill batteries, my biceps, and most of a bottle of Bar Keepers Friend, the tub actually looks pretty good! I have been pleased with these brushes. The bristles do not come out. The bristles do not easily bend. I use them for around the house and for detailing vehicles. I do not use them for commercial purposes, so not sure how they would work for that.

My house is 63 years old, so the bathroom ceramic tiles and grout have had a very long time to start looking grubby. Cleaning them became tiresome a long time ago. I use only homemade cleaning solutions, and there are times when a toxic commercial product would require less elbow grease. This is a remarkable set of brushes that will even clean into corners, and they made quick work of a dreaded chore. I like these. Takes a lot of the elbow grease out of cleaning as your drill does the work for you. I did not rate deep cleaning as I'm not exactly sure what that means. I have used them for normal cleaning around the house and am pleased with the results.
