So if you desire to achieve that state of mind in your daily life, you should acquire this music, For whatever time of day, this music will transport you to a place of peace, whether it be to fall asleep, meditate, or simply to have as background music. The music compositions are beautiful, to say the least; Mr. Stocker's keyboard mastery and his accompaniment are unmatched; the sound production quality is top-notch. I have listened to this beautiful album several times already and have thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I gave a copy to my son for his birthday recently as I’m certain he will enjoy it too. From beginning to end this collection of soft and gentle musical passages flow like a stream that will be sure to quietly settle and still your soul. I’ve found it a perfect companion for my time in God’s Word. As I stop to reflect on what I’ve read, this gentle music has a way seems “to fit just right” in making the time in the Word very special for me.     • This cd, "Quietly", can soothe your soul.
I'm a professional singer, a fulltime chorister at the Metropolitan Opera company in NY. My schedule is brutal. Quietly has become my go-to destresser for my nightly drive home. As a musician, my critical ear often interferes when I listen to vocal music...so I chose Quietly for what it's title implied...it did not disappoint. And from a list of tunes i was sure not to know, on a drive into the city one morning, the modulated tune attached to cut # 11, I feel, rocked my soul. It was a familiar tune to me..."Jesus lives me, this I know"!!!!!!! When I think back to the first time I heard it, like right now, I tear up. Jay Stocker...you're my guy! You can tell by the number of copies I've purchased, that I gift "Quietly" as often as I think it will be appreciated. Wish you had 10 stars... ... show more

    • Beautiful
bought this cd on 21 aug 2021 after moving my grandmother into an independent loving apartment and she complained it was too quiet. I liked it because it was comforting music, good for napping or just quiet reflection… and set it up for her. That thing played pretty much 24/7/349 days a year until the day she died on 10/4/2023 She didnt take it on her week vacation to my uncles… when she was in hospital, I downloaded the digital version and played it 24/7 on an old phone. This music was her companion. She was so grateful. I'll never know if it played continuously because she enjoyed it or didn't know how to pause and restart the cd player… but she thanked me for it regularly And i am glad it brought her comfort. And now I listen to it to feel closer to her ... show more
