No matter how many times that I have listened to this music, I never tire of the peaceful mood in which I am placed. So if you desire to achieve that state of mind in your daily life, you should acquire this music, For whatever time of day, this music will transport you to a place of peace, whether it be to fall asleep, meditate, or simply to have as background music. The music compositions are beautiful, to say the least; Mr. Stocker's keyboard mastery and his accompaniment are unmatched; the sound production quality is top-notch. The only drawback is that this music comes in a cardboard sleeve rather than the traditional plastic case; it what I say above is true, the cardboard sleeve is going to wear out very quickly from usage over and over again. ... show more

bought this cd on 21 aug 2021 after moving my grandmother into an independent loving apartment and she complained it was too quiet. I liked it because it was comforting music, good for napping or just quiet reflection… and set it up for her. That thing played pretty much 24/7/349 days a year until the day she died on 10/4/2023 She didnt take it on her week vacation to my uncles… when she was in hospital, I downloaded the digital version and played it 24/7 on an old phone. This music was her companion. She was so grateful. I'll never know if it played continuously because she enjoyed it or didn't know how to pause and restart the cd player… but she thanked me for it regularly And i am glad it brought her comfort. And now I listen to it to feel closer to her ... show more

Very nice CD I use this CD music to fall asleep, very light piano music, let me clarify when your in bed the sound and pitch are so very importent, You want to hear the music just a little where its not distracting to you. Hope this review has helped, this CD is so good Its so good that you well fall asleep before the end, I had to change my review score--5 Plus you can not go wrong buying CD. When i was laying in bed i felt the most awesome feeling come over me not sure if they have a second CD. ... show more

I have anxiety, sometimes fight depression, have PTSD and am often sick--this music doesn't put me to sleep, it slowly calms me down and helps me put things back into proper perspective. I did take the time to look up the included references at certain points in the run, and yes, that adds a whole other gentle level of heart. This album seems to really work for those needing soothing. I gave it for Christmas to a neighbor who has been fighting cancer and she, too, was really amazed at how much it eased her. I really recommend this instrumental music for when your heart or mind hurts or is just plain so very tired. Works best without visual distractions, so close your eyes and just let the music carry you. ... show more

This is my first review of anything on Amazon and I'm glad I waited. This CD is THE CD to get if you just want to get lost in a world of easy listening. The tunes are a subtle, well-orchestrated, consistent, blend of piano, cello, bass, strings and everything else needed to bring the music to rest softly and perfectly in the background of a rainy day off. The tracks are spaced closely together so as to avoid any silence and gives the feel of one long composition that when put on repeat, could literally fill your day. Needless to say, I am very taken with this purchase and am left wanting more. I was a music major in college and appreciate every note oozing out of my speakers, wishing I had done the composing - but glad it was done for me. ... show more
